Our experience at Palazzo Margherita was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property. It’s spacious, elegant, and impeccably maintained but the real highlight is the view. The scenery is truly breathtaking. Every morning, we woke up to stunning panoramic views that felt like something out of a dream. Pictures simply don’t do it justice. The place had everything we could possibly need. Whether we were relaxing on the terrace, enjoying a meal together, or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings, it felt like home—but better. What truly made our stay special, though, was the people. Mauro was phenomenal. From the very beginning, he made sure everything ran smoothly. He was attentive, kind, and always available to help. He arranged a private car to pick us up from Naples, and Antonio, our driver, was professional, friendly, and a joy to ride with. Mauro also set up a private tour to Amalfi and Ravello—Marco, our guide, was knowledgeable and engaging, and we had an amazing time exploring the coast with him. Every detail of our trip was thoughtfully taken care of. We never had to worry about a thing—we were able to just relax and enjoy every moment. Leaving was honestly the hardest part. We wished we had more time to spend in such a stunning place, surrounded by such warm and welcoming people. If you're considering a stay at Palazzo Margherita—don’t hesitate. It was one of the most memorable trips we've ever had, and we can’t wait to return someday.

Me and my best friend stayed here on a girls trip. We stayed in the Praiano room and it was gorgeous, we were especially obsessed with the bathroom which had a breathtaking view. Everything was very clean and pristine, we really enjoyed the large terrace as well. Also the Clarins products in the bathroom was amazing. Every single room, bathroom and kitchen had an epic view which we enjoyed so much. Besides, our host Mr. Mauro was very accommodating, he arranged our airport transfers smoothly and was always available on whatsapp. I'm already planning to come back with my family.

The experience overall was fantastic. Hotel Manager Maurio was fantastic. Helpful in every way, from suggestions to setting up transfers and excursions. Positano was very crowded, which was expected, but we didn't realize how much we preferred to stay away. This was the ending to our Amafli trip, so we kept in our apartment, which had a fully stocked kitchen and was nice to make our own food. There was a small grocery/market within 2 minutes. We went daily and I cooked and we staid on terrace which had fabulous views. Oh, for the US travelers, this was the best AC out of all of our bookings. Felt like our house back in Texas. We love heat but we love AC just as much.

Palazzo Margarita was just a sensational experience, from Mauro meeting us, assisting with luggage and stopping traffic to park in his off street garage (arranged in advance), to the tour of the apartment with him I knew we were in good hands. The place is amazing. Both the facilities, the view and the terrance once the sun is off it in the evening. It would be very pleasant in cooler months also. There is a mini-market just metres up the street with fresh produce, drinks and all other needs. A little pricier than in a large town but they are logistically challenged. From the minimarket Mauro pointed out the stairs to the beach. There are a lot of stairs in Positano! But he also made sure to mention that there is an easier option to walk up the road to return. We went down the stairs in entire length to the beach once and I used a mix of stairs and road after that. The swimming on the free beach is divine and we also walked the short walk around to Fornillo where you can swim and order a beer on the small beach there before the paid beaches. The cafe/restaurant there attached to the beach service just as you arrive (built on a deck on left as you go through from first beach to second) was sensational. Best coffee was by far & away at Bar Paradise looking over the beach. Very reasonably priced too. At the end of our stay Mauro again assisted with luggage back up to road level. It was only a couple of flights as we were on the lower level in "Pergola" but the assistance was appreciated. The addition of an ice machine & both still/sparkling water machine in the stairwell outside our apartment was well used during our stay and demonstrated the extras they have included to make this place just a little more amazing.

There was nothing not to like. The place is amazing. The drive in was not liked by my wife :) but that was already known and is not in control of Mauro or I'm sure he'd have had it fixed!!

Our host, Mauro, was unbelievably accommodating. Having traveled extensively over the last 20 years, he is the most genuine, warm, and caring host I've ever experienced. He went out of his way to make our stay a memorable experience for our family. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable with a million dollar view. Mauro helped us with everything from arriving safely, staying in contact with us, and arranging our meals and excursions. He is truly a treasure for anyone looking for a relaxed and beautiful vacation. Thank you, Mauro, for everything. Our family had the best time in Positano!!

Not being able to stay longer.

For a first time visit to Positano, this was the perfect place to be! The Mulini apartment was huge, immaculate, and very close to a market where we got coffee and bakery items each morning. It was right off a Main Street so we were dropped off right in front and were able to get drivers to pick us up right in front for a winery tour, a restaurant in the hills, and to Sorrento- so convenient! The biggest asset, however, was Mauro, the manager. Months before our arrival, he was invaluable for arranging our seamless transportation from the airport to Sorrento, Sorrento to Positano, to the ferry to Capri, and then back to Rome. He had restaurant suggestions as well, and all were amazing. What a kind, helpful, and knowledgeable man. The drivers he got for us were just like him- kind and so knowledgeable . We loved Vincenzo, a young man whom we felt so comfortable with on our drive along the coast , to the winery, and to the airport. The people you meet make the trip so much more special, and Mauro did that for us. We will be back !

The stairs take a bit getting used to, but that was part of the whole experience! We knew our way around after the first day.

I loved everything about the property. The location was superb, Mauro was exceptional. The views and everything couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I will be back.

The only mishap we had as it is an old building I guess, one of us got locked into the bathroom as the door would not open and key didn’t work. We had to get Mauro to come open it for us. So I would highly recommend to NOT shut the bathroom door. That’s all.

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Margherita! We were a family of 5 adults and rented the “Mulini” apartment which was perfect for us. It had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a balcony overlooking the city and water that ran across the entire unit. The receptionist was in contact with us to help us arrange transportation if needed, met us as soon as we arrived to check in, and gave us lovely restaurant recommendations. The apartment was clean, well-stocked, and overall SO cute. Each room had different tiles and its own personality. The beds were comfortable and everyone appreciated having their own space. The hotel is only a short walk from the main one-way road through town and lots of beautiful shops and restaurants, and it’s only a few meters from a nice grocery store. It has easy access to the beach and everything in town (though prepare for a lot of climbing, but that is with anything in Positano). We felt comfortable and welcomed our entire stay and really enjoyed our time here. We would recommend Palazzo Margherita to anyone traveling to Positano!

Second time staying at the property. First was in 2018 in a different unit of the property. We stayed in Sponda tis time. Beautiful large terrace with gorgeous views. The manager Mauro is the best! He is friendly, kind and super helpful! All his recommendations for restaurants and activities are spot on during both of our stays! He arranged a private boat tour for us with Captain Alessandro which was wonderful. Highly recommend the hotel if you want a beautiful, elegant and peaceful and spacious home away from home in the heart of Positano. We can't wait to come back for the 3rd time in the near future!

We loved the balcony and the location! Mauro was wonderful and helped us arrange many day trips! He was always helpful and great at communicating! We also took the boat the Capri on a private excursion!
