An exceptional, or should I say world class experience at this amazing hotel. Complements to Anita and Natalie along with the staff who were extraordinary in making us feel at home in a rather busy environment as we arrived. Nothing was too difficult for these lovely hosts, and the hotel truly was one of kind. The views, amenities, food and drink was exemplary and we simply can’t wait to go back. 6 star recommendation if this was a possibility! Onwards and upwards for this beautiful establishment

The location was perfect and had its own private beach and pool. The views from the room were exceptional; breakfast on the terrace was a dream. The jacuzzi tub was also super relaxing after a day by the pool and beach. Loved everything about this place.

I hate to be the typical American but the stairs to the beach kicked our butts, but that is part of the experience in Positano. Just prepare yourself and get in shape! No complaints though, everything about the property was wonderful.

We loved it here! The staff were so kind and helpful with letting us know what to see on our excursions. Having a private beach and a pool is great to cool off on a hot day without fighting crowds! Highly recommend!

We felt rushed on our reserved dinner at the restaurant which was our first night there. It looked like they overbooked we didn’t make another reservation the rest of the time there.

I booked the Marincanto on the 24th of July for my engagement proposal. The hotel and the staff were exceptional! Everyone was so attentive and helpful. A very special mention to Paulo who helped me out with the Engagement planning and also keeping it a secret, he recommended restaurants not only in positano but elsewhere too. We will definitely making it an annual trip now.

Location and Views are the best in the whole of Positano fact !!!! The Staff are Amazing and so Accommodating!! First of all , I do my research before every trip we take and I actually found it so overwhelming with the amount of beautiful hotels here but I'm so delighted we picked Maricanto 🙌 , after walking around and seen all the other hotels where they are located , this hotel is by far the absolute BEST HANDS DOWN , the restaurant is fantastic here but what makes it , is all the staff !!! They are all just fantastic!!! This is their last night of the season and you wouldn't even know the way we were treated during the week !!! They treated us like the start of the season , full of energy ,joy and happiness and so helpful !!! They went above and beyond for us !!! We actually stayed an extra night because of the Amazing Staff ! A special thanks to Dario for the free upgrade for our Anniversary , and all his recommendations!! He was exceptional , he booked all our reservations for ferries , restaurants, airport transport !!! Thank you Dario for making our trip perfect x and also a big thank you to Joel !! ,for all you're knowledge of italy and recommendations for restaurants !!! Everything Was Amazing 👏

The location was fabulous and the view from our Junior Suite was stunning. The breakfast each morning was beautiful. All the staff were very friendly especially the beautiful Paulo at front desk. The gentleman who assisted us down at the beach was extremely helpful.

They need new pillows.. the ones in our room were flat. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were inedible. Extremely runny bordering on raw.. Why no cocktails at the beach club??? the drinks were horrible. Was so sad to see people enjoying beautiful cocktails and food from the bar/restaurant next door (blue and white umbrellas) but we were told we were not allowed to purchase. That we had to order from the Marincanto bar. There was only warmish white wine which was horrible.. No snacks by the beach.. :(

Well... This was Positano. Is there such thing as a bad location??? Considering that we did choose the "economy" room, I suppose I can't complain about having a small space. In Positano, you'll want to be out and about enjoying the beach and all the amazing things that are unique to this splendid location, so the size of your room isn't too important. It's just place to sleep after your daily excursions. That being said, everything else was top notch. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was wonderfully friendly & responsive at all times. I also loved their breakfast buffet and their restaurant was amazing. We tried a few different places to eat while we were in Positano, and the Marincanto restaurant ranked right up there with the best of what we had. To show just how much they take care of their customers... Our shower stall didn't have a soap dish on the shower wall. We mentioned it at the front desk, and they sent a hotel worker up to our room to install one for us. That was really astounding.

The property was gorgeous - the view was beautiful, the restaurant was beautiful, the rooms were beautiful and our favourite part was the beach access. The location was incredible - you were slightly removed so it wasn’t directly in the craze of all of the tourists but still could access restaurants within a five minute walk. The staff was all personable and incredibly helpful and we loved getting to know them.

What a fabulous hotel! I can't wait to return. The views from the terrace for breakfast (fabulous buffet!) were the highlight of our entire two week trip to Italy! Our room was huge with a gorgeous view, and we loved sitting on the terrace in the evenings watching the twinkling lights of the town! Just stunning. Absolutely loved the beach set-up. They have lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels and a waiter taking drink orders, which were fabulous! No need to go to a beach club, this one is included! (And the posh beach club next to it has the most fabulous lunch!) The pool! We just sat staring out at the boats and water for hours from the infinity edge pool. Dario the Concierge was so accommodating and helpful- he really went above and beyond to make sure our stay and the logistics of our arrival and departure were seamless. Try to make your restaurant reservations well in advance, the best spots are hard to get into last minute. The location is wonderful, too! The stroll into town in the evening will take your breath away. So gorgeous. Loved this town, loved this hotel.
