Hotel Rotal Positano is at upper tier of road ascent. Local " internal" hopper bus makes access down to town okay. House management and reception staff were very helpfuk and assisted in task of car hire. Breafast room and staff commendsble. They do a great job to accomodste your wishes. Modt persons are multinlingual. Pool is aside beautiful gardens, has barxsrrgery for soft drinks, water and food.

The breakfast offerings are a bit limited, including toasts, cereals, fruits in syrups, other pastries and scrambled egg with mudhrooms and bacon. Only complaint is that its mostly 'samey and repetitive'. Could be a tsd more imaginative with healthy salad options. Surptise is no kettle orctea and coffee facility in room. You are expected to run a tab and purchase every commodity.

Nice hotel, with a good breakfast. With a big swimming pool, though I have not had the chance to swim. Beautiful balcony to see the mountain view and a distant sight of the sea. have own parking, though not so many lots, daily 40 euros, a bit expensive, but it is Positano. Just nearby, a 1-minute walk, there is a pizza house, really nice taste and good price. 3 minutes walk, there will be a few stores for food and grocery.

To access to the beach, you may need to take some steps to go down the hill, it may take about 10 minutes to the hotel. If it is summer, that might be a real challenge, just a lot of other comments have said. Anyway, we are still ok for that, the senior might not be proper for that. Definitely just across the road, there will be a bus; however, we thought it still would be inconvenient, as the waiting time,

Amazing setting and views, so picturesque and glamorous. The rooms were so comfortable, and the balconies were spacious enough to fit 3 chairs easily. Top notch breakfast buffet too, lots of selection. I would totally come back.

The spa/beauty suite and tennis court were under renovation, so that was disappointing. We went in spring though, so hopefully they get it finished in time for the summer season.

The double room with sea view was amazing, as good as it gets in Positano especially at night. The terrace is huge and the beds were great, we slept like babies. We were a bit skeptical about staying here due to a number of reviews that we find to be blow out of proportion and do not reflect truly. Probably the older rooms/ no sea view rooms are different.

40eur pe night to park the car is more expensive that the fine in Positano. The pool closes at 18.00.

The staff was impeccable! Mario greeted us and was very accommodating, he helped us with directions, how to get around, called for luggage porter and even checked on tickets for the Blue Grotto. The breakfast buffet was a huge spread, so we had dinner at the hotel both nights with live music! Highly recommend the filet and eggplant parm fabulous! The wait staff is fantastic, from David, Fredrica, Jonathan and our Sommelier. We loved having wine on the outdoor restaurant patio and balcony of our room, the view was incredible and gorgeous at night with twinkling lights. Mario upgraded our room because not many people this time of year, the room and the view was phenomenal, it was everything you imagine Amalfi coast to be!

Spacious rooms and good value for money. The pool is dated but really nice. We had a good stay in summer. The location is a bit up the hill but the Sita bus stop Is close buy just like local eateries with a fraction of the price from the main area in Positano. Overall good stay

Hotel would really benefit from a renovation. But nothing to compromise a great holidays in Positano Breakfast is great, the only improvement would be the replenishment of food that sometimes was quite slow.

Property was well priced for location and having a pool. However it appeared that the hotel was not just used for hotel guests.. a lot of local families were there crowding the pool

Absolutely fantastic location, great breakfast and very accommodating staff. Rooms were very clean with room service coming every day. Would highly recommend booking this hotel.

Bed was slightly uncomfortable and we had twin beds put together, which meant it split and created a gap in the middle of the night. Other than this, I think it would still be worth booking this hotel for views and location.
