The property was quite unique and not your typical hotel. Incredible views of the sea and a perfect lunch / dinner spot overlooking the Adriatic. The staff were brilliant, especially the lady at reception, Marika who was super helpful. You don’t need a car to get to the hotel, we took a taxi from the airport and reception arranged taxis if we needed to venture out. Would recommend heading along the coast if you have time to Sirolo and Numana for a day trip. Would definitely come back here.

Nothing to dislike, brilliant place

The location is very beautiful and nicely maintained, breakfast and bistro/bar food is delicious

It would be great if stuff take more time to show the property and explain how everything works. They just showed us the room. In the evening the access to the hotel (that was open during the day) from the sea side was closed. And no one from the stuff mentioned before how to get back there or told us about opening hour of the sea side gate. It took time to find a closed door and small bell in the darkness. Same way no explanation about changing rooms at the pool. No place to dry your swimsuits

Amazing building in an extraordinary & beautiful location above the sea with fantastic restaurants in walking distance. All the staff were friendly, welcoming & first class!

Literally the only negative thing we could think of is to suggest a stronger extractor fan in the bathroom which hit a bit steamed up

The property is beautiful and still retains many of its original features as a sea defence fortification. The views across to the Ancona coastline are wonderful and not to be missed as the sun begins to set. Also, don’t miss the opportunity to eat in the beautifully dining hall while enjoying someone caress the grand piano.

We had a slight issue with the air conditioning but it was quickly resolved. There really isn’t anything to dislike here.

Great location with oasis of green around charming eco-pool, plus of course right on sea front with direct access. great views and reasonably quiet. Good room decor, good breakfast, very helpful staff. Restaurant on terrace had splendid view and interesting, slightly fussy but fairly priced, food.

Room (classic) slightly small. Exit routes toward public beach with its restaurants are not clear. Staff said only remote (and dark) access gate was open for residents via an entry-phone at night, whereas a much closer gate actually left open all the time but signed not available to residents. No-one stopped us, or other guests, using it but management should get messages right. Alternative (asphalt) route good for cars but too long for casual stroll.

This property has an interesting history and a fabulous location. The hotel, restaurant and grounds are well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed and the beds are comfortable. The shower was large and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure. The patio is a lovely place to sip coffee in the morning or an aperitivo in the afternoon. The grounds are peaceful. There’s a lovely beach nearby.

Very interesting location Excellent quality and very good food

The menu was all fish based. No meat dishes at all.. The breakfast was not as good as I have had in similar priced places. For example, you had to ask for milk, non on display for breakfast. Nevertheless it was a nice breakfast, just limited choice.

Incredible breakfast, very friendly staff, walking distance to many restaurants. Very easy access to the ocean, we loved having the sun chairs to read listening to the waves. The pool is also incredible.

Lunch food wasn’t the best. So we opted to have dinner elsewhere. The beach is not private, you do see the public coming and going often.

We loved the location, facilities and ambience. Just sorry we could only stay one day as it was a short stop over on our travel to the north of Italy. The access to the electric car charger was another reason we booked the place as it made it very convenient not to have to hunt around for a charging place outside the hotel. An amazing room, excellent breakfast and the breathtaking location made this stay memorable . We will tell our friends about this place for sure

Absolutely everything was amazing, from the beautifully appointed rooms, wonderful sea views with access directly down to the shore and very attentive staff. Sita in the bar was exceptional and made the most delicious mojitos we had in two weeks (and we tried a lot!!) She made our first afternoon so much fun.
