A very well conceived and maintained and disclosed historical estate, run by lovely people who really care about the hapiness and wellbeing of their guests. The pool is just breathtaking and soft to the eyes and skin. The restaurant area is lined with a palm tree and a second pool and it over oversees a grand valley with long sunsets. One is delighted by the sudden (and near deafening) songs of the many peacocks who live here (some of which may loom up near the swimming pool). Our room was spacious, elegant and well cared for on a daily basis. The general feeling we had built up during our stay of several days and made us deplore our departure.

Despite the obvious benefits of this miraculous resort the price we paid felt somewhat elevated. But we are natives from a country known for these terrible feelings.

The hotel was stunning and a real treat! We were greeted very warmly and taken in to the kitchen to see our dinner being prepared and offered a drink and something to eat. Everything was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Dinner was served outside on the terrace. The only thing to note is that you are not given a menu to choose your dinner, it is prepared for you and everyone eats the same thing (unless you have allergies/preferences etc). The gardens and swimming pool area was just fantastic too. Overall would thoroughly recommend!

We loved everything about Fontes Episcopi – it was our favourite place of the places we stayed in Sicily. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, a comfy, stylish room, beautiful style (I am jealous of Maurizio's ability to pick up antique/second hand gems and local art!). We took advantage of some of the experiences (a massage and a cooking class) and they were both 10/10. A good location if you're in the Agrigento area. Thank you very much to the team. Although a short stay it left a lasting impression!

This was our favourite place that we stayed in during a two-week trip around Sicily. We booked it at the last minute having left a couple of nights free and it totally exceeded our expectations. It's beautifully decorated, the staff and manager put a lot of care into the place and it feels like a family entreprise. And the food is amazing (breakfast lunch and dinner) - some of the best we had during our entire trip. We met some great people and want to go back!

Beautiful estate located in Arragona. Staff is very friendly, they take the time to explain everything and to chit-chat. They speak fluent English and make you feel at home. The hotel feels more like a family than a hotel. There are options to cook meals for the guests massages an pottery baking. Also olive picking in October! Walking around the estate you'll find many animals. Which we love. The interior is beautiful, very artsy yet personal. Again - not like a 'normal' hotel. The pool is a pluspoint. Feels very luxurious, towels and sunbeds available. It's great that they cook with local food - mostly from their own land, although not the best I've ever had. You can have breakfast for 10 euro's pp, lunch for 30 pp and dinner for 45 pp. Wine starting from 20 euros. But you can also have dinner in Argigento for example at Nuccio. We had a very nice dinner here. Keep in mind that staying here is a bit expensive, you'll have to pay for everything extra. Nevertheless this was our favorite stay in Sicily (by far!!) and we’ll be back for sure :)

Very beautiful property situated in an olive orchard yet with easy access to drive into Agrigento. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, we also very much enjoyed our breakfast every morning during our stay and the dinner we had at the property was pure homemade Sicilian food - outstanding! Pool was awesome for relaxing on warm summer days, rooms were a good size and quite comfortable. Recommended!

its a hidden Gem- located in an olive orchard with a warm friendly family feel- its like visiting the italian family you hoped to have we enjoyed the pool, the communal spaces, and our fabulous room traveling with 3 kids, we felt safe and welcomed- they got to take cooking classes and enjoyed these so very much fantastic food!!!!

First of all lovely staff! We felt really welcomed and well taken care of. We spent a lovely afternoon by their pool being served cocktails while sunbathing. In the evening we enjoyed a home cooked dinner out in their garden. We only planned to stay one night but we wished we would have stayed longer! We we're afraid that the surroundings wouldn't entertain us for more than one day in our limited schedule. But the stay it self offered more than enough activities with cooking classes, a wonderful garden and spa treatments.

Welcoming,warm,stylish,great hospitality, healthy food, delicious food,relaxing, all round beautiful. To me the most perfect accommodation I’ve ever experienced, and the most charming and genuine staff who all went out of their way to make it a wonderful experience. Fantastic meals, comfortable bed, we were very sorry to leave!

There is not one negative I can think of.

We loved our stay so much that we extended it for an extra night! The food was fantastic, the staff are wonderful and the property is very beautiful. The pool area is particularly lovely and it’s nice having peacocks and kittens wandering around. We ate a couple of lunches and dinners on site - the vegetables are from a local farm and have such incredible flavour. It was very hot during our stay and the air con struggled but the staff provided a fan that helped.

Our only complaint was how uncomfortable the pillows are and there aren’t any alternatives. They’re thin and hard and hurt our necks.
