REALLY friendly people! Go here to get sicilian hospitality. :) Short trip to Avola for beautiful wine and dinner by the beach.

The rooms are old school, not so good sound proofing. I woke up a couple of times, so comfort was not 100%. But the price and friendlyness more than makes up for it!

The garden & pool area (pool could be cleaner) are very relaxing and not too far away (with your own transport) there is a quaint promenade with good restaurants. Breakfast was basic but ok.

We arrived after a long day of travel and due to a misunderstanding, there was no one to open the gate for us - check-in is at 4pm, too late! What we did not like was the attitude; when we first phoned they said they were sanitizing, then on the second call that they were out for lunch, so clearly a lie. Quite unprofessional and not the right attitude to run a business. It was blistering heat and the reply we got was 'E chi vi apre?' (Referring to the gate, not the room, for we were willing to wait by the pool). If you are too tired or lazy to run a business, then don't. We had 2 nights, so ended up from spending less time at the B&B: from 4pm on check-in to 10am on check-out. Will not make this mistake again, especially for the price we paid.

Why do you choose a B&B? For 3 reasons: 1) the contact with local people, 2) to discover local products and 3) to sleep in a nice place. 1) We got no advices at all. It was clear the owners didn't want to promote their area. 2) The breakfast was poor. Don't go there expecting to discover Sicilian specialities. We had 3 breakfasts, we had the same stuff each time. 3) The area was infested of mosquitos and dogs barked all night long. The shower was small. --- In summary, go somewhere else.
