The hotel restaurant was amazing and we had one of the best meals there during our time in Italy. The pool was lovely, and there was lots of space and plenty of chairs around it to sit and relax. The staff were all really great as well, and we were able to arrange transfers to and from the hotel with ease.

The private pools were not super private, with no fence or many plants separating from the next rooms, you were only 1m away from your neighbours. 2 of the 3 pools had nice sunshine coming through in the afternoon, but our sunshine was blocked by some plants that weren't in a great spot. We wish we had just stayed in a regular room as we used the private pool once for 5 minutes and just sat by the main pool which was lovely.

This is one of the most magnificent places we’ve ever stayed at. The building itself has been beautifully restored creating authentic comfortable rooms with gorgeous design features. The gardens and pool area are a wonderful place to spend time relaxing and the staff can’t do enough for you. We ate dinner at Manna and it was a stand out meal for our holiday in Sicily.

The pool area and gardens are absolutely stunning, creating such a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The dining courtyard is a beautiful setting to enjoy a meal, and the food matched the surroundings perfectly. Service all round was fantastic, with staff who were friendly, attentive, and made everything feel effortless.

Beautiful property! The room was very spacious. Great bar/ restaurant by the pool for during the day.

Internet was very slow. Coffee drinks for breakfast could be better. One should be aware that there is a (very good!) restaurant in the patio of the hotel. At night it’s loud inside the room, but the restaurant shuts down at midnight. It would be more comfortable inside the room (we had room number 4), if there was an extra door between the bed area and the area in front of the bathroom. Not a minus, because we knew before booking but it’s still good to know: The hotel is across from the sea, but there is no sea access. Sea access is a 10 min walk from the hotel at a public beach or a 15 min car ride to bigger beaches.

This place exceeded expectations and its way better than in the pictures. Staff is kind and efficient. rooms very spacious and gardens amazing. Near the sea in a few minutes. Food is great as well (Nana restaurant)

It felt like an oasis of calm. We did receive an upgrade on our room which was an extra bonus. The whole experience was very positive and very relaxing. Beautiful gardens all around and everything had been renovated/built sympathetically. The staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was great. There was an independent restaurant at the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed the two evening meals we had there.

Everything was on point.

A wonderfully restored rustic residence. Classic features with modern amenities. Helpful and friendly staff made this a special place. A top quality restaurant is alongside the residence.

loved the rustic charm of the country house. we were given an upgrade and had a fantastic room with a super comfortable bed. plenty of free parking if you have your own car. the owners Marco and Christina were super friendly and welcomed us personally, even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. great continental breakfast buffet and one night we made reservations for their restaurant which was excellent.

this is only a minor issue, but we felt some of the staff could have been a bit more welcoming in their attitude. we were not sure if it was due to a language barrier, but even though I wouldn't expect everyone to speak English, at least a friendly smile or greeting in Italian could be expected.

This place is absolutely beautiful and perfect if you want a peaceful, quiet break. The food was great, the staff very helpful and the whole property was kept immaculate by the cleaning and gardening/pool staff. So glad we found it for our holiday in Sicily! There’s a nice long beach nearby too that we cycled to sometimes, on bikes provided by the property for free.

It is quite far from anywhere notable and we didn’t hire a car for the week (absolute school boy error). Taxis are really expensive and the local areas, although only a 15-20 minute walk away, are not really safe to get to on foot… there’s no paths anywhere so we walked on the roads a lot, which wasn’t a great experience! Defo not the property’s fault though, just including this info in my review hoping others will not make the same mistake we did. GET A CAR!

Beautiful rural hotel built around an old courtyard with an old well at the centre, where you have your breakfast and restaurant meal. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of everything from fresh pastries and cakes, breads, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice. Pool area and the gardens are very well maintained with beautiful olive and lemon trees, lavender, gaura. The hotel's app suggested a number of local beaches to visit and they were were all lovely, quiet and sandy - and you can take an umbrella to the beach for shade. Staff are excellent. Good location to drive to Noto and Ortigia such beautiful historical towns and the beautiful fishing village of Marzamemi.
