The hotel is perfectly located in the very short distance from the old town and the main pedestrian street. The comfort and cleanness were more than perfect.

The negative comment does not refer to the work of the hotel's owners and team members. They are more than great! The negative comment reffers to the guests behaviour. Unfortunately our stay/ sleep/ during the last 3d night (approximately at midnight) were aggressively disturbed by other guests who wanted to enter our room, when we were sleeping. These guest were aggressive, welling, trying to put a key in our door and ringing. We were shocked & stressed. After a while someone open them a place and the guests became calm. We didn't succeed to have a good healthy sleep, just the day before our return home. At the morning at 10AM we left the keys from our studio on the reception, as we were instructed. There were no body to receive the keys and we went to the airport.

I had a truly fantastic stay at Kaktus B&B in Bari! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and attentive staff; they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The environment is cozy, stylish, and spotlessly clean, creating the perfect space to relax after a day of exploring. I also loved the thoughtful details throughout the B&B that made it feel like a home away from home. The location is ideal..perfectly situated for visiting both Bari and the beautiful surrounding areas. I can’t recommend Kaktus B&B enough to anyone planning a trip to Bari. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back!

I truly appreciated every aspect of this place.

Good location, walking distance from the Old Town (10 to 15 minutes). Clean, sunny and large room. Coffee Machine accessible. The room is decorated with some artistic spirit. We would definitely be back and again in Kaktus. The host is very nice and helpful. Overall enjoyable experience. And there is a shop with wine from the taps, across the street. I would recommend!

Apart from the crazy - small and loud elevator in the building, everything was perfect.

Great location, about halfway between the train station (15 mins) and historic centre (15 mins) and easy reach of good shopping/eating areas (10 mins). Also just 20 mins to beautiful sandy swimming beach. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything you need. The breakfast arrangement is not as good as a typical B&B, however the Cafe Joli where you have a voucher for does wonderful cappuccinos, spremuta and the freshest croissants and the most cheerful, welcoming owner.

The self check-in worked well, although it is always nice to be welcomed personally into a new place. This is more akin to an Airbnb. Also, the full breakfast buffet you get in a typical Italian B&B is missing (eg fresh fruit, yogurts, scrambled eggs etc). But to be fair, it was hard to find anything of this value in Bari within easy walking distance of everything including a lovely beach.

Sarah and her mum were so helpful, thankyou. The Cafe Joli for breakfast was so friendly and the croissants were delicious. Location of the apartment was fairly equidistant between the railway station and the old town. Travelling by train or bus to outlying towns was easy and great value. Local restaurants were reasonably priced and food everywhere was excellent. The room was comfortable, we had one facing the road, it was a little noisy late at night. A great place to stay and an excellent base to examine the City.

All was good, even the noise was short and sweet.

Our stay was great here. The apartment has very good location, close to the downtown, and to public transport (regional buses and trains) as well. The bar, when we had breakfast is so close, where the staff was very kind and helpful.

The square next to the apartment was full of life at night, it was a bit noisy, but I think it's understandable at summer, because it is too hot for people in daytime to go outside. (and you can close the window, the room has air-conditioner :) )

You get voucher for breakfast for nearby cafe. The staff there is really nice, pastries are lovely and you get fresh orange juice. Staff at the place is very nice, place is very clean and they will help and answer your questions if you have any. You need to send your ID but that seems as a standard practice in Italy, so it is not a scam :) Not a long distance from the train station or old town, so you can walk anywhere. Nice little balcony that you can sit outside. Big bed.

The room and bathroom were rather small. But everything was there what you need. There is no toiletries in the bathroom so make sure to brink your own. The street that you walk from the station is hard to go with the suitcase, but it is not on a property as a fault. Way too much air freshener used. There were 2 or 3 plugged in. I am sensitive to smells and that was too much for me and needed to open the window straight away. Maybe a bit too much furniture in the room, hard to move around.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The most important thing for us when choosing the hotel was that it was safe, clean and close to important points. When we came to the hotel, we realized that we made the right choice in every respect. first of all the hotel operator was very helpful even though we checked in late. A nice little surprise awaited us in our room, thank you again. The room is very clean, spacious and convenient. In fact, we talked among ourselves, "What a beautiful house it would be if it had a kitchen and a small room." we really felt like at home. The balcony is a great comfort. We drank our coffee in the morning and sipped our wine in the evening. We were very surprised that no one used their balcony in Bari because we loved it! Since our departure time from Bari was very early, the hotel booked a taxi for us in advance. The taxi arrived on time and we left the hotel very satisfied. we just couldn't see the wine opener in the room. After we got it, it occurred to us to ask the hotel. maybe it was at the reception, it might not even be needed. In short, we definitely recommend the hotel, thanks for everything…

I can’t think of a place I’ve stayed at that provided every single creature comfort like tissues everywhere, shower caddy, hooks for hanging the towel, oversized bath towel, usual toiletries, welcome bottle of bubbly, room charmingly appointed.

I have to say the access is a bit intimidating when you first arrive although the instructions are perfect. No real problem getting in. Coming home after dinner was a little unusual as there was no lighting on the stairs until you reach the apartment main door. I used my cellphone flashlight so it’s manageable. Once you’re inside all that doesn’t matter as the place is spacious and still cozy. I was travelling alone but it could easily accommodate two people comfortably.

There is a nice room on the second floor with an elevator. It is located` on the main street, about a 15-minute walk from Bari's old town (which is lovely).

It isn't easy to park and to put the luggage in the apartment. We had to leave early in the morning to take our flight, so we didn't experience breakfast in the nearby coffee shop.
