Beautiful old house tastefully restored , exceptionally clean. Very warm welcome by the manager who was at all times very helpful. Nice room overlooking the garden and hills beyond at the front and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was the normal selection of cakes and meats and cheeses. Ample free parking onsite . Not far to drive into Bassano, no restaurant onsite so difficult if you don’t have a car. Has the potential to be amazing if improvements are made.

Beyond the hotels control but I must point out there is a huge building construction going on directly next door . Villa Lovi does little to try and obscure the building site from guests views by putting up a high fence or planting shrubs and hedges, hence the whole site is in plain view when trying to enjoy the garden at the front. I have no idea why this has not been addressed . Also it would be nice if comfortable garden chairs were provided , in 6 days the only garden seating was a handful of very uncomfortable iron seats .

Our family room was clean and comfortable, and the kids really enjoyed the pool table. The included breakfast was satisfying, with varied options from savory (cheeses, salami/bacon and scrambled eggs) to sweet (cakes and pastries); we especially liked that the coffee was not from a push-button machine. Sara, at reception, was super friendly and very accommodating, even helping with suggestions for pottery stores in Bassano center.

Our only issue was with the tub/showerhead. The maximum height for the showerhead was waist high and there was no water barrier to prevent water from splashing everywhere when you pick up the shower wand to wash/rinse your hair/body.

The location is beautiful and the property itself is wonderful! Everything is well maintained and clean, with all the amenities you need - and more than you expect (like shoe buffers!). The breakfast was fantastic - made to order eggs plus pastries, coffee, yogurt, juice, etc. And the service was impeccable - very friendly, professional and helpful - provided us a recommendation for a local pizza place that was incredible!

The only very minor detail is that the GPS takes you to a side door that isn't the actual entrance to the property. But the entrance is just a few feet down the road, so not a big problem at all.

Easy check-in, clean room, good breakfast. Efficient air condition. Quiet at night.

First I was given a very dark room on ground floor with windows looking directly to a fence of the construction site which is right beside Villa Lovi. I complained and got a room on the 1st floor. I was a little disappointed that I had to ask for a better room as it was obviously available from the start. You can't drive to the entrance so all luggage has to be carried over from the parking, which is not comfortable. Nobody helped with luggage.

This property is truly beautiful. The rooms are nice and very clean. They are not extremely equipped (eg no bin in the rooms and No hair powerful drier) but they immediately agreed to our request and provided us what we need (ex a powerful hairdrier). Sara, the manageress, could not be more helpful. She is truly capable and manages the property and needs of her clients, not merely professionally, but with a heart.

The ongoing words and view from one of the rooms windows, which was machinary and construction work and material. Breakfast could be a little bit more beefed up. Some more gluten free products would have been appreciated.

Beautiful villa, nice room and very kind communication with the lady at the reception at check-in and check-out and with the cleaning lady (who even kindly offered help with my luggage). They kindly let me stay in one hour after the official check-out time. There is a construction site just besides the villa and I suppose it can get quite noisy when they work - but as I was there during the weekend, it was not a problem. Only the view from the room was not as nice as it could have been without this site. Very calm at night; comfortable bed. Nice to hear the birds singing in the morning. Parking very near. Very soft and nice towels in the bathroom. All very clean, new and well maintained.

I booked a deluxe room which, according to the description and the photos on their page it should come with a fireplace and a divan - my room had none of these. But as my room was still really nice and big enough for my needs, it didn't really bother me so I didn't say anything to the reception, I just noticed it.

The lady at the reception was super kind and gave all information. My bags were taken to my room as I arrived before checkin time so they stored them and put them in the room for me. The room was big and very clean. There was complimentary water and snacks available in the room. Breakfast was also nice with fresh pastries and pies.

The gps shows the destination at a previous gate of a villa that is being renovated so it was a tiny bit misleading at first. I drove a bit further and found the entrance.

Villa Lovi was the starting point for our 4-day bicycle tour via Trento, Verona, Vicenza. We had a very warm welcome, very cosy rooms with lovely interior and an excellent breakfast. The area and the city of Bassano is great. If we are back in Bassano again, Villa Lovi will be our favorite location to stay

This newly renovated 100+ year old Villa was done with great taste and quality. The rooms are adorable and very clean. Each day the room was serviced and new towels provided... no questions asked. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The coffee and breakfast was good and generous. Walking distance to Bassano del Grappa.

This was a lovely little hotel near Bassano del Grappa. It is a little out of the centre, so you'd probably want a car, but that also meant it was set in lovely countryside. We stayed over a number of very hot days and there were a few air conditioning issues, but the hotel manager was very nice and assisted us with our requests. We'd stay again.
