It's remote enough to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but in reality it's only a 20 min drive from the airport. The views are incredible and the pool is an absolute dream. I stayed in an apartment which had a kitchen and everything I needed to cook. The apartments are located a short walk away from the main building but I saw fireflies when walking back at night so that was beautiful. Their restaurant is also great - beautiful views and delicious food.

I enjoyed everything - I chose this place to disconnect from the city life and it was perfect.

A little isolated but well worth it for the magnificent views across to Assisi and Perugia. Staff were very helpful and facilities were excellent. Restaurant was excellent too.

Our accommodation was a little distant from the reception, restaurant and pool. Whilst not a huge problem the rooms nearer the reception for us would have been better.

Location is just stunning, food excellent. Quiet spot. Nice swimming pool.

The bathroom shower (which was over the bath) was too low and also leaked a huge amount of water over the bathroom floor. When raised with the staff on reception, they dismissed us saying that there was nothing they could do about it. The toilet flush wouldn't stop without intervention. In essence the bathroom needed an upgrade.

We stayed here for 4 nights during our road trip through Italy. What a beautiful location. One of the best views I had in my life during diner. Enjoying the great Italian cuisine during an amazing sunset! What a gift. We enjoyed our room which was very nice and also the pool was great. Specially during the high temperature. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We really recommend this wonderful place. I hope we come back some day.

l Poggio degli Olivi is based in a wonderful location. The pool area, views of Assisi and surrounding areas, main reception building and restaurant were all excellent. The menu in the restaurant was small but food and wine were excellent. Bed was comfortable and air con worked well. We were provided with an excellent folder of local information.

Things fell down in the state of the accommodation. We stayed in the self-catering units further down the hill, which had no view due to big trees blocking it. The apartment was very tired in terms of decor, limited in terms of self catering facilities and not very clean (especially the shower and dusty dado rail/wardrobe shelves.) We also felt slightly "second in line" when compared to some other guests visiting, who always seemed to be served first at the bar area, even when our order had been taken first!! We asked for a kettle and clothes rack to dry towels/costumes etc (as non already provided), which arrived the same day. (the kettle didn't actually reach boiling point, so we continued to boil water in saucepan for making tea!). Kitchen area really not in a good way- small, dark, worn, broken tiles and therefore a bit grimy and not very inviting! Could not get TV to work properly - some easy instructions for all the appliances would have been very helpful. Some areas of wood trim missing, or fell off while we were there! (Which they did come to re-fix on the same day.) Apartment not welcoming or value for money in terms of our experience unfortunately, but loved the location, pool and views.

Big olive garden/farm; nice and quite location, view from the terrace is very nice. Parking was for free and easy to find.

We booked 1 apartment that is very far from the main building where the reception and restaurant are. The apartment was not very clean - dust and on one of the walls there were some stains from mosquitoes or some kind of crushed on the wall. We haven’t had the apartment clean at all in 1 week, nor any towels chagend or a resuply fo shower gel/shampoo. For a couple of days there was no warn water-seems that there is a button on the wall that should be pressed- didn’t really figure out which. Firts time it happened someone from the reception come and solve it for the last 2 days we took cold showers. Overall the property is nice but will not recommend to book the appartments which are very small and not in good condition.

The views of this country house is really breathtaking and there are panoramic views overlooking the valley and Assisi in the distance. Unfortunately our stay had terrible weather however on a hot sunny day the pool would be a real treat. I feel the price of the stay is reasonable and fair. The osteria on site is cosy and the food is delicious plus its a nice touch that the food is locally sourced. We tried the olive oil that is made from the local farm and everything was delicious.

We originally booked a “superior” apartment to which we discovered is a very far distance from the main reception, pool, facilities & restaurant. It took us ages to find the apartment and once inside we were disappointed by the poor smell, dirty bathroom and lights not working making it seem really dark. We were kindly reallocated a room in the main hotel area and given a choice of two options although we felt this inconvenienced the staff and they were not happy with us. The rooms are outdated and quite dusty, I suffered with dust allergies whenever we were in the room.
