Very nice reception and cleaning staff. Comfortable bed. We stayed 4 extra nights. It is possible to walk into Bologne along the porticos. Bus . Blumen is on good bus routes. For people who travel on Public Transport. Railway Station to Blumen 27 bus. From Blumen into the town 19 bus. Booking ..com Please include Public Transport in your facilities! You have parking for the car! Also Bar Blumen, next door. Coffee, pastries, full of people from the neighbourhood. Amiable hosts, one man who speaks very good English, and two young women who also have English .

The bedroom curtain was not quite long enough, so it did let a bit of light in.

Very good breakfast. Attentive staff. The AC worked perfectly. We liked the location. It was a pleasant and not a very long walk to the city center. We are not young people and still could easily make it a couple of times a day. The room was cleaned every day. We would definitely like to stay there again.

The shower cabin could have been a bit more comfortable.

Room cleaning was unexpectedly frequent and often quite thorough. Breakfast was reasonably good, especially if compared to what my colleagues got in their hotels. Long single bed, I am 2m tall and don't take it for granted. Two grocery stores and a pharmacy within 30m. Huge hospital close by for travellers with kids and/or special needs. Lidl within 10 minutes of walking. Exuberant ice cream café down the street.

No AC in corridors. Sometimes no AC in dining area. Somewhat unclear info on included services. WiFi was acting strange, one moment it was great, next moment it just breaks...

We had an excellent stay. The rooms are well-equipped and clean, there was not a thing we lacked. The staff at the reception are extremely pleasant and helpful. Although the parking is not guaranteed, the staff made sure we got our parking spot. Furthermore, they even let us park for additional time after we left the room. Location is walking distance away from the city centre, which is a big plus. Would definetely recommend a stay in Hotel Blumen. In addition, we absolutely enjoyed the breakfast.

Extraordinary staff, especially Francesca at the reception who did not only arrange for us to have enough space ín the parking lot but also handed us our rooms earlier and had an overall authentic -don't worry, and hutry, everything is fine: mentality. Cleaning lady was véry problém solving oriented as well as we stepped into the room and she was still ín the cleaning process. And we loved the welcome treat with pastry bites and free coffee /coffee machine/ and the slippers ín the room. Walter boiler and some tea bags come with the room. And good air conditioning, it was 40 degrees that day. Hotel is located 1 km from the city center and is a clear direct walk under the arcades.

We really missed the vegetables from breakfast. We know this is not the Italian way, but still.

We arrived the day that the Tour de France stage two was coming through. A lot of streets blocked off, but local police were really great to work with and helped us find a spot to park. Room was comfortable, air conditioning felt great and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was so good. Will definitely stay again.

The only thing...and I hate to say it...the only member of staff that we met seemed a little unfriendly. She could have been having a bad day since it was chaotic, but I was bummed as, up to this point, had had the best experiences with hosts and the people of Italy in general.

First and foremost the staff was extremely kind, helpful and hospitable. We were greeted by a smile and were given great tips for our dinner and dessert. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom. The location was great - walking distance from the city center, quiet at night. All in all an exceptional experience, we would totally recommend it and try to book again when in the area.

Breakfast was good, with many choices, although not in all (no choice in dry fruit, for example) Location is reasonable with a bus stop very close, and at 30 min walking distance from Piazza Maggiore. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a good quality for the price, considering the market.

Nothing in particular. I do not give a higher rate just because the Hotel is not in the highest category, and it is not central. It is a good compromise between convenient and good quality.

The rooms where big enough , the breakfest was cute and delicious , and staff was friendly and helpful. Wasn't quite in the city center but distance wasn't far to walk , also we could do late check in since the reception was 24 hrs and felt super safe. I would recommend it to other travelers

We had to pay 16 euros for city taxes for the night we stayed and we were a bit surprised cause we thought the VAT (16 euros )at our payment recipe from booking meant city taxes were included also but guess it wasn't .

The Hotel is located in quite a quiet place and you can make it to the center in 15-20 min by foot. The breakfast is good.

The showers are a bit small or at least I got a smaller one because I was one stretch away from opening the doors. Some hangars in the room were broken and could not be used properly. Paid for Single Room and got an Economy Room.
