The host manager, Victoria, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. When we encountered issues with the online check-in process, she promptly assisted us and resolved the problem with ease, making sure our experience was as smooth as possible. The apartment itself was conveniently located, just a short distance from the city center, making it easy for us to explore Bologna's attractions. Additionally, the area around the apartment was well-served with plenty of grocery stores and shops, where we could easily buy everything we needed during our stay. The proximity to these amenities made our stay even more comfortable and convenient.

The check-in process for this apartment hotel was quite frustrating. We were required to upload photos of our IDs and even take pictures of ourselves holding the IDs, along with providing a significant amount of personal information. This level of detail felt intrusive and unnecessary, especially considering that we haven’t encountered such stringent requirements in any other hotels we’ve stayed at in Italy, including those in Bologna. Additionally, the entrance to the apartment was unwelcoming, resembling a prison gate with numerous lattice doors, codes, and locks. Navigating through these barriers was a bit challenging and made us feel more like we were entering a high-security facility than a place to relax and unwind.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The building itself was great — although it’s on a busy street, the apartment and terrace face the opposite direction, so it was very quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything you'd need, even for a longer stay. It felt very comfortable and practical. There are also a couple of nice coffee shops just around the corner, which made grabbing breakfast each morning super convenient. Overall, we were really happy with everything — no complaints at all.

This is a superb location in a relatively residential area but with short walks to the key Bologna tourist hotspots, but it is the local parks and markets which we also very much enjoyed. The local streets have a vast array of excellent restaurants and shops so it is a great place to be to sense life as a Bolognese resident. Easy connection by bus to train station via multiple routes.

Additional kitchen equipment like glass wine glasses, chopping board and sharp knives would have been appreciated.

Everything! Location: fantastic, in the historic centre, walking distance to everything. The station could also be easily reached on foot. The apartment was on the top floor, very private, with a split level where there was a little balcony overlooking the roofs, and skylights that allowed to look at the sky in the night and get sunlight in during the day. The bed was comfortable, there were two sofas in the upper level, two TV sets, a perfectly equipped and functional kitchen, good size bathroom, perfect shower and water pressure. The check-in instructions were clear, as well as the instructions about connecting to WIFI and other information. The apartment was warm and welcoming. In short, an excellent stay, with a great atmosphere. 10/10.

Not a dislike, but it should be made clear that there is no lift and the apartment, being on the top floor (3rd) can only be reached through stairwell. There are also steps in the apartment. People with mobility issues should consider these constraints.

It was really easy to communicate with the staff via Whatsapp. The terrasse was amazing. The neighbourhood the best. Equipment was very good also.

I was a bit nervous at first because messages kept coming in from different senders, check-in had another name than the others. In these times with a lot of frauds these things are stressfull. I travelled with my 85 year old mother and I needed to cross her bedroom in order to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night - good to know if use the extrabed.

The location if the apartment is good. Since Bologna is a small city, you can be in the center in just 20 minutes, we like walking, so it was no problem at all for us. It was a large apartment, but I can say it was a bit stuffy and dark. Other than that, we had no problems, there was a coffee machine and necessary supplies in the room. There was a fully equipped kitchen, but you should definitely wash your dishes :) I can also say that it was good in terms of cleaning. I recommend it to those who will stay for a night or two

It’s not often you find yourself living inside a novel — but for a few days in Bologna, we did exactly that. Our apartment at No. 88 Via Santo Stefano, tucked under soft ochre walls and centuries-old porticoes, felt like it had been lifted straight from the pages of John Grisham’s The Broker. A mezzanine bedroom, a small balcony, and a view across clay-tiled rooftops gave the space a quiet, watchful feel — part safehouse, part sanctuary.

It was a little tricky storing our luggage

The appartement was very clean and finding it was easy as well. It's 10-15 minutes by foot from the city center. The water was hot while taking a shower and the room was warm. We payed a very good price for 2 nights (4 people).

The check-in is complicated. I had to complete the info online for each guest and it required 2 pictures with the ID card and 1 selfie with each person holding the card. It's a little bit too much. Also, the city taxes are not included in the price !!! You have to pay them when you do the online check in. Nobody told us this. After arriving at the apartment we had some questions, but nobody responded, even though we send the messages both on WhatsApp and on Booking. Another thing is that the appartement is situated in a building with lots of Airbnbs belonging to the same company. When you book, you dont really know what room you will get, because the pictures presented are from different appartments. If we ever visit Bologna again, we will not come back to this place.

The apartment is really clean and comfortable. It has everything you need (even an aircon). It is also really conveniently located near the old town and is well connected to the bus routes so it was easy to get to the apartment from the airport. The check in was easy and they have luggage storage facilities which was super useful. There was also an lovely Cafe right by the apartment to enjoy coffee and breakfast.

Overall the apartment is great and I would stay there again next time I visit Bologna. However, it is very noisy as it is right above a busy road. You can't sleep with the windows open as it is just too noisy.

The cleanliness and detail oriented attention.

A bit cold and no heat source. The thermostat is locked and set to 20 degree Celsius. Also be ware, you don’t actually pay at the property 😅 they put a charge on your card and hold it until you get to the property, where you “decide” if you want to pay cash or card. If you pay card they keep the tax money. If you pat cash they return the “tax” to tour card in about 3 days which adds up to 10 days that they keep money from your account. This is a heads up, because their choice of words was unfortunate, as admitted also by a Booking representant
