Good location, nice staff

They have a centralized air-conditioning and I went on a hot June, the lowest they will give you is 23°C and it doesnt feel 23° and I think their setting is set to dry (not cool) so i woke up in the middle of the night because my throat starts to dry and itch, got painful throat (not sore throat, i didnt even eat gelato because of this) the second night. No cleaning on sundays and they only give you a 20ml body&shampoo 2-in-1 bottle and that doesnt even fit for one showering how much more fitting it for 2days. Shower is very small, cannot properly bend to clean my legs and feet. Wifi is not very stable but its not a big deal as i dont usually use social media during vacation.

Since I was mostly out exploring and only used the room for the shower and to sleep at night, I will say that one thing that I liked was the location. It is 20 - 30 minutes walk from Bologna Centrale train station (you can also get there fast by bus or taxi).

As I said above, I used the place to sleep and shower, therefore I can’t complain. Perhaps I would have loved a double bed instead pf the single, however, it is what it is. There is also no minibar, in case ine needs to keeps some things cool. Other than that, it’s perfect. Unless you get a hotel you actually spend more time in, this one gets the job done - you having a place to stay, while you enjoy your vacation.

Localisation is the best advantage, very clean rooms and super helpful and nice staff. I was feeling very safe in this area and I liked the fact there is request to respect night time hours. The only I would add, I would like to have additional blanket available in a room, as the nights were a little bit chilly outside and I would love to have some additional layer. Breakfast - I would also love to have some fresh fruits available, but it is all value for price. Thank you very much for your accommodation and if I would be back to Bologna, I would definitely look back at your place to book. And again, staff is amazing!!!!, thank you very much

This hotel offers great value for money. Its atmosphere retains the simplicity of its original monastery roots, so while the rooms aren’t luxurious, the price reflects that. The breakfast was decent, my room was clean, and I could sleep with the windows open without any city noise, thanks to the peaceful view facing the Basilica di San Domenico. From this location, many of the city’s major attractions are within walking distance, making it an excellent base for exploring.

Unfortunately, the hotel’s restaurant was closed during my stay, which was a bit disappointing as I’d heard good things about it. However, this wasn’t a major issue since the neighborhood offers a fantastic variety of dining options. Within just a short walk, you’ll find everything from cozy cafés and local trattorias to more upscale restaurants, offering a great selection of Italian and international cuisine.

My room was simple and clean, very functional. The staff was kind and helpful, The breakfast was included in the price and was good. Wifi-connection was excellent. A city map was available.

Perhaps in the future they could provide a short instruction of how to get from the hotel to the railway station, in case taxis fail (to my great surprise it appeared that in the morning of my leaving the hotel for railway station, and from there, to the airport, taxi service was halted in Bologna, because of flooding at many places. There is a bus not too far, but a detailed advice as how to take it would surely be welcome.

the hotel is very well located, inside the walls of Bologna. It is a walking distance (around 10 min) to the main square. The bedroom is large, there is Air Conditioned and the toilet is very spacious. The breakfast is very nice. The place is not a comercial hotel but it all the facilities so it looks like a nice hotel. There is a car park space (you have to book in advance) for a reazonable price (15E). If I return to Bologna, for sure I will booked it again. Good value for the money

Breakfast was ok, but see below. Coffee in capsules was great, machine coffee was awful (instant coffee). Area safe and conveniently close to the city center. Staff very helpful.

Breakfast: bread could be better (no much variety, the nice brown bread was going fast without quick replacement). Only one toasting machine, not enough when crowded. We were not allowed to take coffee out - it would be nice to have an extra coffee in the nice terrace. Eggs would be nicer if they were fresh-boiled and not cold from the fridge. Room small, and no well lit. No anti-mosquito grids in the windows, while heavily needed (this would also allow to have the outer blinds up, giving more light to the room). A/C too noisy. Finally, the 1pm rule is too restrictive, maybe 2pm?

If you are arriving at Bologna Centrale then take bus C to Cestello, then it is only a three minute walk. The location is fairly convenient to reach most destinations in the historic centre of Bologna, besides, the city is conducive to walking with much to explore and many eateries. The breakfast is a buffet service so best to get in early (the restaurant area opens at 7:30), although the waitress does her best to keep stocks replenished. The staff are efficient and informative and the room is kept clean (but not on Sundays).

The bed in my single room was rather small, but otherwise comfortable. The lifts were often overcrowded, especially at breakfast time.

I liked the welcoming staff and cleaniness of the hotel rooms. I had no problems with the location and was easily traveling with public transportation nearby. Food was fair, not a big selection but everything that was served was yummy.

I didn't like the beds as they were very narrow and had barely any beddings. The bed sheets werent properly made and were very thin material. Pillows were also thin.

I've stayed here before and find it very pleasant and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and can communicate well even if they don't speak English - unfortunately I don't speak Italian. The single rooms are not vast in size but I think they're very comfortable and equipped with everything you need including an en suite bathroom.

I would have liked to be able to turn the heating in the bedroom down more easily without having to open the window. Having breakfast included is good but I'd have liked a bit more fruit available if possible.
