We had such a wonderful stay, this really was a perfect experience. Johnny and Graziella made us feel so welcome in their beautifully situated Hotel Chentu Lunas or 'a hundred moons'. We loved the morning cappuccinos and juice with the light breakfast and the room was nice and cool, clean and lovely to rest in. It's right on the corner facing the sea and marina - what a super location (a scenic and quiet spot)! The water is so clear - we swam in various locations on the 5 mile beach and it was so easy to pick up food/drink from the local supermarket or from one of the many bars and restaurants along the beach road. With fantastic recommendations from them, we hired ebikes (easy breeze to counter the heat) and toured across the salt plains to see the beautiful flamingoes and along the cycle paths on the coast. With Johnny's help we booked a boat tour just a short walk away on the Marina Piccola and sailed to the Sella del Diavolo (Devil’s Saddle) and remote beaches and had incredible scenic swim/snorkel stops in secluded coves with the pretty fish. We also went into the capital via bus - again so close to a bus stop to visit the old town - SO picturesque with it's historic and beautiful architecture. We highly recommend this - it really was a special experience due lovely accommodation, location and our exceptionally kind hosts. Thank you Graziella and Johnny!!

It was perfect!

Excellent location, just off the beach front, 1 minute walk to the actual beach and beachside restaurants. Our balcony overlooked a pretty recently renovated park and was very quiet at night. The room was a decent size, spotlessly clean. The owners Graziella and Johnny go out of their way to do everything possible to help. We had a cooked bfast every morning with eggs and fresh delicious croissants . Graziella advised us re good restaurants in the area and also booked us an excellent day tour to visit other beautiful beaches as well as the taxi transfer to the airport. We also hired ebikes and visited the nature reserve, the historical center of Cagliari using the bike path, also came in useful to visit the far side of Poetto beach which is much quieter. The hotel provides sun umbrellas, deck chairs and beach towels . They have a personal touch! Amazing all round personal service! Highly recommend this hotel. Grazie ancora Graziella e Johnny!

You wouldn’t be looking here if you wanted five star modern glitzy glamour. What you do get is a comfortable, relaxed beach style accommodation in an absolutely perfect setting with the most wonderful hosts. I also appreciated having a proper hairdryer, a kettle and a fridge. Access to the beautiful beach couldn’t be better and we were fortunate to have an incredible sea view. Johnny and Graziella looked after us incredibly well, going to the lengths of providing requests at breakfast and racing around to help with a broken vape 😂. They have run the place for decades, so are full of recommendations and can sort taxis,trips etc etc. There are some outstanding road works nearby but they didn’t disturb us at all. Decent restaurants nearby and the bus into the beautiful town was quick and easy. Highly recommended.

Graziella and John were so incredibly attentive, warm, helpful, kind..... never experienced anything similar. As a "cagliaritano" myself, I can share there couldn't be any better place than Chentu Lunas for making the guests feeling "as family". Unprecedented level of services, cleaning, support.... no any mission is impossible for these guys !!! The Location is spot on, beach within 50 meters of walking, same for restaurants, local pharmacy and grocery store. More than recommended, definitely a place to return to, it was sad to leave. I can definitely confirm, places and restaurants recommended by Graziella are mentioned because of their quality and value (= no any "shady business" with tourists).

In the vicinity, you'll find several excellent restaurants, cozy bars, a market, a beautiful beach, and convenient transport links to the city center. The rooms and bathrooms have a unique charm, but what captivated us the most were the hosts. From the very beginning, they were an invaluable support—always smiling, ready to help, and eager to chat, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel. If you're wondering what to see or which attractions to enjoy, they'll gladly suggest the most interesting options. Plus, there are delicious breakfasts served downstairs. We'll definitely be back more than once!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, lovingly managed by the owners, Graziella and Johnny who are absolutely lovely. The location is basically steps to the beautiful beach and an oceanside multi purpose pathway with bars, restaurants and of course, the ocean in plain view! It is a short hope to the heavy tourist area with transport at the door. The Pullman costs €1.30 and stops directly at the Centro. The hotel is very clean, safe and secure. Graziella and Johnny want your stay to be memorable and are full of great suggestions on everything Sardegna. We unhesitatingly recommend Chentu Lunas and will return! Thank you Graziella & Johnny!

WE LOVED EVERYTHING! Hosts are some of the best people I have ever seen, they were always easy to reach and went a great deal to ensure our perfect holiday. They even got us a beach umbrella and chairs to chill on the beach whole day (we went by plane so we could not bring that). Breakfast was also very tasty, you could chose from sweet and salty versions as you wished. Hosts also gave us a lot of recommendations about activities and restaurants and places to visit and were very responsive in case we had further questions. Location of the hotel is also amazing, it is a 2 minute walk from the beach. Beach itself is one of the cleanest I have ever seen, water is not very deep by the shore so you can play games there and it is safe for kids. But there is still plenty of room for swimming in deeper water (and there were no large waves which was nice). There is a large promenade along the beach which is very nice to walk by in the evening. Hotel is also very close to grocery store and bus stop, where you can take a bus to Cagliari and chill there. I would definitely recommend for a nice holidays.

Johnny and Graziella were so nice and helpful from day one. Looked after us before we even arrived offering airport transfers.. Hotel is amazing so clean and fantastic location with bus close and beside the beach. Looking forward to going back next year for another stay in this lovely hotel.

The location was superb, just opposite a lovely beach with sunbed hire and plenty of choice for food. The water is shallow and good for children. Boat hire also available. The hotel was very clean, breakfast lovely and hosts superb.

We loved the location of the property right next to the beach & close to the bus stop to go to the city. Johnny was so helpful on check in, with recommendations for restaurants & things to do. The breakfast was fantastic too, we’d definitely recommend staying here!
