Sa Domu Cheta is right in the old town. We received a warm welcome and everyone was very helpful as well as speaking good English. Our room was smallish but clean and very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was delicious each day with a good selection of both sweet and savoury items. There are lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Although the streets were busy until late we didn't experience any noise in our room. We definitely recommend it as a great place to stay in Cagliari.

Parking is tricky and expensive if you have to use a car park but that is what you have if you stay in the historic centre.

A real 'hidden gem' - great value in the heart of Cagliari. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were great and the breakfast room was beautiful in terms of table linens, etc. The rooms are small but very tastefully finished and extremely clean. The location was excellent in terms of being within easy walking distance of all the sights.

I hesitate to say anything negative about this super place but its one drawback was that our room overlooked a part of the pedestrian street where party goers made a lot of noise all night on the weekend nights. It was much quieter during the week so I would recommend planning your stay to not include a weekend or ask for a room that does not directly overlook the street

Not only is the hotel perfectly situated in the heart of Cagliari‘s center, but also it offers an authentic Sardinian vibe and experience. We were celebrating our marriage and were properly received from the friendly staff where they prepared our room accordingly. The room has very good air conditioning and has a little nice balcony to stand in and take a look at the bustling street underneath. Our stay was short as we had to travel, and had the unfortunate event of losing one of our phones on the way from the hotel to the car, we came back and the hotel manager helped us thoroughly until the phone was located. We are very thankful and will definitely return next year to this cute hotel.

The location is excellent. It's close to a train station with regular connections with the airport. There are also very nice restaurants in the neighborhood. I was travelling with a bicycle, and the hotel very kindly allowed me to leave the bike suitcase there while I was doing my island tour.

One minor drawback is that there were bars on the street outside my window. They do not stay open too late though and the windows of the room, when closed, provide good sound insulation. It was a challenge getting my luggage up a long flight of stairs to the room. My flight arrived late, so there was no help. However at other times when there were staff there they were extremely helpful.

Well located, tastefully designed, cosy hotel in the centre of Cagliari. Delightful staff. Some of the bedrooms overlook a pedestrianised street that is the centre of Cagliari's nightlife. Thankfully the sound insulation of the windows is good, but it's noisy if you have the windows open. Within a couple of minutes walk you can reach many bars and restaurants. The pleasant botanical gardens are nearby.

Parking: The hotel were very helpful with finding somewhere to park: after unloading we took the car to the station car park and they even helped my elderly parents with the 10 minute walk to the car park. So in the end it was a positive not a negative point. The air-conditioning didn't seem to be very effective at cooling.

It was perfect. First of all, the location is so good. You can walk everywhere from the hotel. I came to Cagliari from the airport via train, and after just a few minutes of walking, I arrived at the hotel from the train station. Since the hotel is located in the city center, I could safely return to my room even in the late hours. The breakfast menu is so rich. You can find delicious homemade cakes and marmalades in the breakfast. I like all of them so much. All the staff are so helpful and polite. The staff helped me whenever I needed anything. Also, my room was cleaned every day. If I go to Cagliari again, I am sure I will stay at this hotel. Thanks for everything.

This is such a wonderful place to stay! It was a five minute walk from the train station. Our room was so cozy and so clean, even with heart cookies on Valentine’s Day! Breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff were all extremely kind and friendly! Based on other reviews, we brought ear plugs to sleep with, and that worked well! This location was amazing for exploring Cagliari - a cute Main Street with tons of delicious restaurants were right out the door! We absolutely would stay here again.

Zero complaints!

First of all , the location is amazing.It is in the middle of everything. We needed a place to stay overnight to be able to get iur flight next day and we also wanted to enjoy the city a bit especially effortlessly. So that was the right choice for us . The rooms are very well equipped, clean and you have everything you need . The staff is so kind and so nice that they can go beyond their duties. There is also street parking nearby , and dont be afraid of the noise from the street, because somehow the rooms are really quiet. especially when closing the shutters. We also had breakfast at the hotel and it was also extremely well selected despite the small range of food but exactly the right ones you need.

I had a wonderful stay at this B&B. I was able to check in early, already at 11:30, and was warmly welcomed by the staff. They were very caring and attentive, especially since I was feeling unwell—they brought me everything I needed. The breakfast was lovely, and the location is perfect, right in the centre. My room was very quiet, which I appreciated.

I would only suggest adding a warm blanket in the wardrobe, as it was still a bit cold at night

The room was airy and the bed very comfortable and location was excellent. We were in a room overlooking the Main Street, which was fun, but would strongly recommend ear plugs if you want to sleep as it was very lively at night(luckily we travel with them). It may be ok if the window was closed but as it was before the air conditioning was turned on( before May 1st) we had it open. There was a little balcony which was great to have a little sunbathe on in late afternoon lying on the floor. Very friendly and attentive staff and delicious breakfast.

There was a lovely big bathroom, however there were no towel rails or hooks so towels had to be dried on doors and TV. Also nowhere to put soap and shampoo in shower and no where to put cosmetics and toothbrush etc by sink, so kept them on the floor. Such a shame as it was a lovely bathroom, just not practical and would so easily be rectified
