The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic! And the room was spotless! But what stood out most of all is the friendly feeling of this hotel and this is what makes Hotel Brandl such a pleasant place to stay. They also add little touches like printing out a little daily newspaper that is at your table each morning with history, jokes and activity ideas each day! Plus, they host a happy hour in the lobby on Wednesday evenings so guests can mingle a bit. We stayed at Hotel Brandl as our jumping off point to start our four day trek in the Dolomites.

The indoor pool is not the most inviting as it is a little dated but the sauna is great!

The hotel provides very nice and relaxing accommodation. Certainly, it is not a 5 star hotel but we did not miss anything during our stay. Food was very good. Swimming pool and sauna perfect. The personel was very helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the stay very much. The slopes are close, although not yet in convenient walking distance. However, very easy to reach by car, there was parking next to the lift, free of charge if one has a lift ticket. Actually, if we consider the 3 star hotel category, it would deserve full score of 10.

Nothing in mind. Perhaps for people expecting "wilder" night life after skiing, as probably younger people do, the city is relatively quiet already early in the evening.

Very nice breakfast, and the only place we ever stayed that had dinner included. Dinner was also very nice. Room was very large with a massive amount of closet space. Property included a nice indoor pool and sauna, unfortunately we did not have time to use it.

No complaints.

Old fashioned hotel with very kindly staff. very tasty food. Diner is partly served. You can get tea and some cakes on the afternoon. Large spacious rooms. We enyoyed very much. I recomend this hotel for skiing or eksploring the city and its sourroundings.

Bad smell in the sauna place.

Professional staff, at the first evening we were asked whether which language we speak and than we got an English-speaking waitress. We have got personal "letters" each morning from we could know more about the weather and about places near San Candido. The view was wonderful from our window.

The location in San Candido (which is a beautiful town) is great. Hotel is at the end of a quiet country road. Lovely helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner.

some of the rooms could be renovated.

i was staying only 1 nigh , half board included in the price. the dinner was exceeding my expectation: buffet + main dish and 2 dish and ... dessert! i could not even finish. the buffet was quite good. the room was really quite, i was at the 3rd floor. the location is good, and the parking is quite sufficient. the distance to the center is really manageable, few hundred meters, maybe. as i have to have early breakfast at 6:30, there was no problem: i have just asked at the dinner to the waitress, what i wanted, and they setup for me for the next morning. i would recommend it!

maybe the bed a re a bit too soft for my taste. price for night and dinner included are OK

Food, especialy dinner, was very tasty. Friendly staff, spacious room, very good location of hotel, free parking beside hotel.

Breakfast could be more various. The ski room was an approximation of a real ski room. Sauna is too small for such a big hotel.

The food was amazing! Dinner was superb.

The angle of the roof made the room look and feel smaller. No curtains for the shower.
