We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is great. The property itself is old but charming. Wouldnt hurt with some maintenance/renovation. However the style is so charming. Especially the elevator to so cute. However our experience was great and thats all thanks to the amazing employee Shenin. Please give that boy a raise! He was so helpful with advice on where to go, how to get to places, restaurants, transportation. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We was to leave early in the morning and hence miss breakfast. He offered to make some coffee for us. Such a nice gesture. Thank you so much to Shenin🌸 you deserve all the best!

We loved our stay at Antica Dimora Caruso. The location is great – very central to all main attractions & central bus station. The main road is busy but once you enter the place, it is quiet & calming. The lift up to the B&B was charming – wood panels, lovely smell of polish and red velvet seating – felt like going back in time & the main living room had the same cosy feel. Our room was quiet, very clean with everything we needed and Shenin could not have been more helpful advising us on where to go & to eat – all excellent suggestions. Breakfast on the first day was at a nearby café with regulars chatting away – you really felt like a local ! The following day we had breakfast at the B&B which was great. Would highly recommend visiting here for something memorable from Catania.

The place the whole atmosphere - the hotel is just amazing, it's like a museum of its own! The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing. The personnel is the best I've seen so far in Sicily! Shenin was very kind and helpful! Highly recommend!

Retro style B&B with beautiful frescoes on the ceiling. The elevator was also a charming old fashion type. Great location, a short walk to many attractions. The gentleman at the reception was very polite, welcoming and helpful. Also, the owner (I believe) was very helpful in helping me find the way to the B&B as I was busing in from Palermo. We had a very comfortable room with all the amenities that we required. Bed was comfortable and there was also a sofa to sit on before calling it a night. Although we did not use it, there was a living room by the reception with reading material and sofas, adding to a homely feel.

Nothing really...maybe the entry was a little hard to find, as the intercom buzzer was on the side panel of the main entrance. Once found, it was actually at the usual place with others, and one asks how it could be missed !

Nice and clean room, near to the city center, the buses and train station. They were very helpfull with everything we need and want.

Magnificent apartment in the very central location, walking distance to everything, easy parking, short and easy drive to airport, which was very convenient for our very early morning flight. No pictures or words can describe the beauty of the place, original paintings, elevator... you have to stay in Antica Dimora Caruso to see it and to experience the old times glamor , it's breathtaking. Very good breakfast included. Highly recommend this apartment. Mrs Pinella, thank you very much, we will be back!

The first impression was intimidating, the building was quite ugly, but when we got through the three entrances we were pleasantly disappointed. The common areas are cosy. We received a warm and friendly welcome. Check-in was quick and smooth.I don't understand those who complained about the breakfast. Every country has different eating habits.You could have known in advance that breakfast would not be at the accommodation. There was one meal in the accomodation and the host and her assistant did their best. Special point for the glove,in which they served you. The location of the accommodation was really good, very close to the centre and the central train and bus station were within walking distance. The room was quiet and clean with no street view. The fridge is too small for a large bottle of water. But it didn't matter, because no matter how you turned the switch, it didn't cool. The shower head needs a new gaske.

Locations is good, locates in the city centre, close to everything. Room size is good. Moderately clean. Got an elevator in the old apartment building, which is a surprise.

Don’t like the staff who arranged check ins. A bit rude. Sent too many messages to confirm check ins. The check ins were between 14.00 to 22.00. But the staff keeps texting you to confirm the exact check in times. We arranged check ins at 7.00pm initially and give the staff one hour notice to let the staff know. But then he directly asked us to come after 7.00pm. We had no choice and changed our journey a bit. It’s quite annoying when keep receiving messages on a road trip in the car and causes inconvenience for guests.

Breakfast was at a nearby cafe via a token from the hotel and this was fine. A drink and something savoury or sweet, which was fine and could be augmented if you chose. The room was clean and accessible via keys. The hotel was very traditional . It was close to the market and city centre and not too far from the station. The host was welcoming and relied on a young assistant for English translations, who was very helpful. It was within walking distance of many of the antiquities.

Nothing to do with my stay. However the taxi from outside of the airport was expensive. For my onward journey by train, my host organized a taxi to the station which was a similar distance but a lot less expensive so if she offers this service from the airport to her hotel, take it.

Location is perfect, the stuff also. Very much polite and helpful, the property is also good. Great value for the money. Thank you for the warm stay and special thanks to guy working there (sorry that I forgot your name :( )

The breakfast could've been better since we paid extra for it, but it was not really worth it. The food was ok, but not in the value of the additional cost. Limitation on one bagel and one drink really is not worth paying for the breakfast with the stay.
