This is a place for people who don't mind other guests. There are dining and sitting rooms to share, so breakfast we shared with others. It was a lovely time to exchange our experience as well as get some tips where to go and what to see. The host - Ninni - is a cheerful, positive and open owner. He was the one who made sure we knew everything about the house, room and places to visit. We got maps, directions, info regarding public transport. Location is very convenient, it is close to Borsellino bus and coach station as well as to the old town, shops. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared by Ninni himself. The place is safe, there is a lift. Not recommended to get a car, there is parking on the street, not easy to find space. We felt at home during our 4 days stay.

The hosts were exceptional. They were warm, friendly, accommodating, helpful. The breakfasts were 10/10. From the lovely eating area to the generous, delicious food. The rooms were decorated in an eclectic way with many interesting photos and artwork. The location was close to many sites, a local bus station(not the main one) a few minutes walk away, and many shops and eateries.

While the location was great because it was close to so many amenities, it was also on a busy street that was noisy.

Ninnie and his sister are the best! Ninnie made our stay perfect. Every morning, he turned the kitchen table into a breakfast feast with colorful plates and cups. I loved having breakfast at one big table with the other guests. We stayed here during my birthday, and I could not have wished for a more perfect start to the day. He was also very accommodating towards my vegan wishes. Every morning, there were plenty of options to choose from. The location is also good, near the Ursino Castle, within walking distance of the center and bus station. The place is also stunning; there are so many little details to look at. But the number one reason to stay here is the hospitality!

Just a heads up, the bathroom is actually outside the room, near the kitchen. It was a bit surprising at first, but it was totally fine since we still had a private bathroom, just not inside the room. Oh, and one more thing - there's constant traffic noise, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure to bring earplugs!

The host (Cristina) was very nice, super friendly, supportive. She proposed and showed on a map what is worth to see in Catania. She prepared very good breakfast (bread, cold cut & cheese, vegetables, fruit, joghurt, corn flakes, croissant, coffee) and took care of my gluten-free preferences. She helped us to order taxi to the airport. Everything was super cool. Tha flat looks like exactly what we can see on the pictures here at Booking. So lovely and colorful. Well prepared, clean. Location is also very good. Good restaurants and fish market with the piazza umbrella are very close to the flat (5-10 minutes). Bus station is also max 10 minutes.

This place was one of the most interesting places we have stayed. From its quirky bohemian decor to its super friendly hosts, Nini and Mary. We absolutely loved it. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, lovely linen. Beautiful living and dining packed full with interesting art and antiquities. Our breakfast was prepared by our host Nini who was wonderful. The amount of detail in the table setting for breakfast was far beyond our expectations. The breakfast was our best throughout our journey in the South of Italy. We will definitely stay here again. We had the best time here! Rooms are beautiful with original decorations, and the apartment has so much soul. The location of the apartment is great as well, close to the city center, fish market, and many restaurants. But the highlight of our stay was our lovely host, Ninni. He was so kind, funny, and helpful. He made us feel at home, and his homemade breakfasts were out of this world! If you plan to stay in Catania, we can highly recommend this place! The interior of the building is so beautiful and eclectic. Every nook and cranny has a decoration and makes the building feel very homely. The host was really helpful and kind and made the best breakfast we’ve eaten.

The rooms were towards the busy street and the glass windows let through a lot of the noise, but eventually it’s part of the atmosphere of staying in the city of Catania

Dejeuner: TOP SUPER! So many choices and the table setting was very sweet. The host Ninni was so welcoming and really took care of everyone. Decoration: Absolutely adorable. I love the style and it was clear that a lot of heart and soul was put into making this apartment welcoming.

Unfortunately the host has no control over this, but since our bedroom was next to a busy street it was very loud during the night. Even with the windows closed I could not sleep with the noise of people yelling and cars honking. *TIP* perhaps the host can propose ear plugs for the guests? I would have happily taken them!

Ninni was an excellent host and a great guy! The room was very well located in a vivid and central neighbourhood. The philosophy of the hospitality and the house's decoration fit perfect with the Sicily we met in all terms and contribute to the gaining of a unique experience. This is actually the term that defines very accurately the staying at La Cot B&B: A unique experience!

We could use one more chair in the room. Also, the lighting could be a little be stronger.

This B&B is an experience in itself. A beautiful home built in the 1900's a short distance from the heart of the city. Its owners are a joy to be around and will kindly cater to anything you might need. The breakfast is a delight to the senses. If you are a romantic at heart like us, don't think twice, RESERVE. You will not regret it.
