The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is great value for money. The breakfast was very very good with loads.of variety and high quality of ingredients.

On booking.com it is not clear that use of the spa is not included in the room price. It is a private spa that was already fully booked when we arrived. So our evening plans went out the window. We could have done the spa in the morning from 10 till 12 but the price of visiting this private would cost us 45 euro per person for 2 hours. We felt this was a bit pricy; we paid 90 for the room itself. All the information about it being a small private spa for which you have to pay additional fees on your room rate is clear on the website. Not so on booking.com.

Very cozy hotel with extremely helpful staff. We stayed for 4 nights during Engandin Ski Marathon. It was very convinient to get to Swiss by bus (took just 1.5 hour to get to St. Moritz) - the bus stop is just several steps from the hotel door. Madesimo ski resort is just 30 minutes drive by car. Breakfast was good and there was also nice family restaurant nearby. At the day of check out as we were the only guests in the hotel we were served with excelent breakfast for two. The room was nice and clean with comfy beds.

the view on the river and church was sublime amazing gardens and nice swimming pool The property accommodated an early check in with no questions asked location was great, beautiful town itself and close to Chiavenna

the rooms were a bit dated and the hallway lights were off until you walked through which made the place feel a bit dark. Thats the only negatives that the rooms were a bit small and dated and the lights in the hall weren't on

Beautiful location, pool overseeing mountains and you get access to the little mountain river too! Great facilities, especially recommend eating at the in-house restaurant, fantastic staff and menu.

Bathroom could feel more private, we could hear each other brushing our teeth from the room

The location, although on the main road was ideal. The back of the hotel faces the river and beautiful village. Breakfast was served in their garden which was quite nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pool, although small sits in front of the river. Lovely setting! They have a choice of two restaurants and it would of been nice to stay a second night to enjoy both of them. I can recommend this spot for those on the way somewhere, however there was certainly plenty of nature to enjoy for a longer stay.

Perfect Hotel for a quick stop on the way to Ticino. I really preferred the room to the riverside as it was quiet and had a good view.
