We liked the view and location, room equipment was new and clean. Delicious and varied breakfast with excellent coffee. A restaurant downstairs in the same building is also an asset. Quiet at night - perfect for sound sleep after a journey. A pity we discovered the window blinds in the morning, when they weren't of use anymore 😀 Bathroom also new and in very good shape.

Parking is too small as the place seems to be popular. But we were lucky to stay in the hotel on Sunday and didn't have to pay for the public parking nearby. On the other hand, on Sunday church bells start ringing in Chiavenna in the morning every 15 minutes, so don't expect much sleep after 7am 😁

I understand this hotel/restaurant recently underwent a renovation. A renaissance, really. The rooms were modern, very clean and comfortable. You cannot find a better location to visit the center of Chiavenna or to access the beautiful hiking paths. The restaurant was serving delicious food, and I mean with a gourmet character at reasonable price. The Creamy Zucchini Soup was superb. I cannot recommend this hotel strongly enough.

The rooms were comfortable, upgraded, and well furnished. The breakfast was very good and well managed. The owner seems to be around and on the property. He is lovely and has a nice personality.

We wanted a quick bite to eat on the terrace before the Crotti festival, and the hostess was unaccomodating. We went to another pizzeria in the old town. That was really disappointing.

Hotel new and in the very center of Chiavenna. Modern and clean with a view of the mountains. Personell kind and room very nice. Possibility to park inside the structure.

Bed not so comfortable but maybe it was because of our trekking day!! Some noises coming from the open/close doors of other rooms. Breakfast can be improved, but as overall I am satisfied.

The hotel has had a very good makeover. The rooms are very nice, bathrooms modern. The mattress comfortable, the view….. oh WOW! The restaurant is a treat, meals are great value for money and delicious!

The breakfast was fantastic and the room was clean and furnished well. There was a balcony and the room was very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful.
