Everything about our stay was outstanding! The breakfast was wonderful, personalized and delivered with a smile and friendly conversation. The location was amazing and very convenient. Ever interaction with our host was pleasant and she was very helpful with recommendations. We loved our stay in Cividale and highly recommend this B&B!!

The Church bells were a little loud but it added to the authentic feel of staying in the town.

I liked everything at the property. Francesca and Christina are fabulous hosts. The breakfast was delicious and lots of choices to eat. They even fed us very early one morning so we could make our hike. Also, I needed to dry a few washed items and they let me put them in a drying room.The location is fantastic because it is in the center of the town next to the main church . The place is immaculate. This is the best place that I stayed on the entire trip.

Francesca from hotel's staff was super friendly and supportive! The breakfast was really tasty and fresh. The room was cosy and warm despite the cold outside. The position of hotel is very stategical for city center visit.

There were nice candles in the room but no lighter. To get light from the window you have to open the shutters fully, otherwise it is dark in the room.

This is an exceptional property. Francesca and Cristina were wonderful hosts! They were helpful in every way. The breakfast was wonderful and everything is very clean. The blue room is the best although all rooms are nice. There is very tasteful decor throughout. This is a great choice if you like a central location and personal experience!

The BnB was charming, clean, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was complete with a beautiful continental breakfast with jams, freshly baked croissants, pastries and fresh bread. Eggs were offered any style you desired. Service was welcoming and on point.

The mattress in our room was soft in some places that made it a bit uncomfortable during the evening. There isn't much else that needed improvement. The bathroom was clean with fresh towels and toilettries. There were extra blankets and pillows in the armoire closet.

Had a lovely stay here and were very well taken care of! The location is perfect and the rooms very comfortable. The hostess made us a fantastic breakfast and even accommodated me being vegan by baking a vegan cake! Would definitely come back to Cividale just to stay at B&B Domus iulii.

Very central location and excellent comfort for a B&B with friendly staff and great decor. Large room with lots of space. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and included in the stay which was very good.

No parking - need to drop off and then park for free approx 1km walk away (which was fine for us but might not be for others)

It was a wonderful place to stay. Francesca was able to get us dinner/ lunch reservations for us and both restaurants were memorable. The breakfast that was served both mornings were exceptional. This place was very quiet and clean. Highly recommend

I cannot think of a thing I didn’t know

Our host, Francesca, was exceptional, as was our room, the breakfasts and overall location. Free parking for the two nights we were there, was within easy walking distance. Cividale is a beautiful city and you are right in the heart of it at Domus iulii, and yet it is very quiet. Highly recommend - every room has so much character and Francesca is such a wonderful host.

This is an incredible establishment. Francesca and Cristina were very friendly, helpful and informative. From the absolutely beautiful building and furnishings, the central location immediately overlooking the main city square, to the terrific breakfasts with everything you could ask for tailored to each room's specific tastes, Domus Iulii was overnight highlight of our entire honeymoon, and made our trip to Cividale so much better than we had even expected.

The bed was a little firm but not so much that it interfered with a good night's sleep. Everything else about Domus Iulii more than made up for it.
