We decided to do a spontaneus trip to Italy during the autumn holidays and by "accident" stumbled across this accomodation and we are so glad we did. It is right in the center of city with the free parking near-by. The lady and the reception was really helpful - without even asking, she assumed that we were hungry after a long trip and gave us great recommendations for restaurants (we wanted to eat some domestic cuisine but there are other options for different tastes as well). We had a great coasy room which was quite bigger than we expected. Everything was furnished simple but with quality wooden furniture. We especially appreciated the wooden floor and central heating which can be quite rare in Italy but it's most welcomed in colder months. We also liked the breakfast - it's not self-service, you order it, but they are more than willing to bring you whatever you desire and it's done with great taste and elegancy that we often miss nowadays in hotels and order accomodations. We'd say the staff alone is worth your stay here!

The window in the room was a bit small but it was probably becase we had a room right underneath the roof. We also didn't like that you can't turn the ventilation off in the bathroom because it's connected to the light switch. But it was not too bothersome.

Pleasant hotel in a quiet little square. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and we had a very pleasant night. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the service was five stars. The air conditioner is perfect and hyper-quiet.

The extractor hood in the bathroom is very loud and starts every time the light is switched on. I would rather put the desk in the part of the room next to the entrance, near the small window, so that the person sitting there would not disturb the sleeping roommates.

All members of staff were extremely welcoming and super helpful. They made us feel at home. The hotel itself is wonderful and is in the perfect location with the centre of town being a short walk away and free parking situated just down the road The breakfasts each day were generous and very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely return. When in cividale this is the place to stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

The setting is charming as the owner said some of the building dates to the 12th century. But the rooms seem to date from the 1980s. Many come with a small terrace with views of the town or the surrounding hills. Breakfast is served in a luminous ground floor dining room with an outside terrace that has a view of the town and hills. Breakfast is not a buffet, but most requests are cheerfully met. You only have to ask for such things as eggs and fresh fruit, and they are likely to arrive at your table. WiFi worked faultlessly.

The room was just a bit too small, though the size was as advertised. Floors in corridors were cheap indoor/outdoor carpet, in room the floor was Pergo fake wood. Such an ancient and characterful building could do better. At breakfast, bread rolls were tasteless, not up to the standard of the rest of the breakfast.

When I made the reservation for 2 rooms, they had us in 2 different parts of the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that they had rearranged things so that our rooms were side to side. They served a VERY generous breakfast with homemade pastries, cheeses, prosciutto, breads, coffee, tea, juice, on the balcony; it was out-of-a-postcard beautiful. The rooms were ample and the building was very tastefully renovated. The location is unbeatable in the center of the town. We could park our car in a nearby lot without charge. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was outstanding! Much more comprehensive than any other places we’ve stayed. The staff were so hospitable and we would gladly stay there again, and for a longer visit.

We didn’t realize there was air-conditioning until the next morning. It was a bit warm in the room after we closed the shutters at night.

This accommodation is modern, well located, and with very friendly staff. The one person room was a great solution for me. The breakfast was very good and I appreciated the comfortable bed after my 5 day hike from Slovenia.
