What a very lucky find! The Casino is a truly special place that made for a very relaxing stay after the hustle and bustle of beautiful Bologna. Our room was spotless, stylish and comfortable. I don't think we've ever stayed in such a huge room with a massive en-suite. The staff were all so welcoming, and the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious with locally grown and prepared produce. Elisabetta gave us some great advice about parking, transport links and places to visit. The vineyard tour with Matteo was very interesting and informative. Both of them were very patient with our Italian pronunciations, which did improve somewhat following the drinking of their very tasty biodynamically produced wine! We were so lucky to have great WhatsApp communications with Matteo and Massi and really appreciated their help with booking local restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, locally sourced with all the information where it was procured. Pool was clean, albeit a bit cold, but it's outdoor and it was middle of May, so to be expected. Rooms are super spacious, bathroom was huge, everything was clean. There is plenty room to park in front of the building with gated entrance. Good traffic connections to Modena / Bologna

Nothing to complain about the hotel itself, we did have a bit of bad smell in our room, but that is most likely due to recent floods in the regions so it's to be expected. Nothing a short window opening every few hours couldn't solve... Also beware of mosquitos, but the local kind, the quiet ones which just bite you in silence and go away, the kind we are all used to in countries around Adriatic, so no new breeds which buzz whole night :)

Luigi, the owner, and Elizabeth, the manager, were both incredibly welcoming and helpful. They booked a few wonderful local restaurants for us, suggested some out of the way small hill towns to visit (which are not in guide books) and made us feel welcome at this incredibly special property.

The rooms and bathrooms were large, airy, and impeccably clean. The main salon was beautiful but could have had a few more personal objects around like colorful pillows and chairs to create a greater sense of warmth. The dining room and the main hall (in another building) were, however, beautiful and inviting. The grounds are estate-like and were well designed and maintained.

Pragatto hills was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful area. Our suite was quiet and clean with a fridge and a safe. The owners Luigi and Elisabetta were delightful and couldn't do enough for you, even booking us into a couple of restaurants because we had not done so and it was Bank Holiday weekend and very busy.

Breakfast was nice but we would have liked croissants for breakfast but none were on offer and we didn't ask- our fault. The toaster wasn't great and took ages to toast bread. Our bathroom in the 'Merlot' suite was big and showy but the bath was useless and no point it being there. It sprayed water out of the tap and didn't run at all. It would have taken literally weeks to fill. This was a shame as we both love our baths. We did mention this but it was not sorted before we left. There was very little water pressure so the shower was also not great, especially if you have long hair. It takes ages to wash it. Sky tv would have been nice as there was no access to english tv/films at all. It was, we felt expensive and could be an amazing venue if the above things were addressed.

what a fabulous place. it is even better than the pictures suggest the room was large and elegant and had a massive bathroom with a similarly massive shower Elisabetta was a great hostess - charming and helpful and also spoke English which was helpful - nothing was too much trouble The breakfast was fantastico with everything fresh and local and not a plastic bag or E number in site Will will certainly come again if we are in the area the place is a taxi drive to the delights of Bologna or if you want to save some €s then the train is only €3.10 from Crespallano to Bologna town wall and it is about a 10 min walk to Pragatto Hills from the station

Thank you to the staff who were with us and helped us during our short stay. Due to an incident with RENT-A-CAR, we arrived at the property by UBER and had to stay there until we managed with the car. The staff was very helpful, they found us local taxis, recommended restaurants, were patient with us, and let us stay at the property until we got the paperwork sorted. The location is very interesting for those looking for authentic but modern conditions. We will gladly recommend this location if you are in the area.

Great B&B located in a nice area outside Bologna (20 mins by car). Very friendly staff. The breakfast is above average for an Italian B&B (Organic products, fresh juice, quality ham and cheese, etc). I recommend.

The office in the suite is not suitable to work (small table, old and not comfortable chair). As I came during a very big fair in Bologna the rates were a little overpriced (but less than most of the places in Bologna). For the breakfast I missed some fresh fruits. For the rest it was great!

Lovely property with gorgeous gardens and pool, very tranquil. We were there only for a quick one night stop over but the hosts made every effort to make us welcome - made us extra early breakfast as we had to depart early and gave great advice for visiting Bologna

The shower was a little weak but enough to get refreshed!!

Lovely property with a large garden and pool. We used the B&B as a stopover for an early morning (6am) flight from Bologna Airport and in that respect it worked well. The property is approx a 35 minute drive from the airport depending on traffic. We were unable to sample the breakfast or dip in the pool , maybe next time.

The attic room had an external bathroom. A little expensive .

This is a wonderful place close to Bologna, Modena and Ravenna. Situated in a beautiful Parc with superb swimmingpool. Helpfull and friendly staff, big rooms.. in short you will not get any better! Strongly recommended.
