A simple but very clean hotel with super nice and welcoming staff. Buffet breakast does not have a 5 star hotel variety but all the core items are there and they are of very good quality. Perfect location if you travel for work and need to be in the industrial area of Anzola. Very quiet, zero noise at night. I wish there was an electric kettle at the room but at this price, you can't have it all.

As I said, I would love to have an electric kettle in the room. Something for tea or coffee. But that's a minor issue.

The hotel is located outside of Bologna, but if you have a car, it is very easy to get there. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And a couple of cute cats welcome you too! The room we got was quiet, except for the occasional noisy guest (it's unbelievable to me how many people can't understand that you should lower your voice when in a hotel at night, but... you know... that's humanity), and with a beautiful view of the fields of the Pianura Padana. Frankly speaking, nothing to complain about. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good, with fresh "cornetti" (briosch, in Italian). Let me say: nothing really fancy, but pretty good for the cost. Plenty of free parking and easy access is an added bonus.

Nothing specific. The only drawback is that you have to leave the hotel to eat during the day and at night. But considering that we are talking about Bologna, "the kingdom of good food", also with respect to the rest of Italy, this is not a problem at all.

Great value for the money. Perfect location for taking the train to Bologna for the day. Staff were very helpful. Good breakfast. Spacious and comfortable room. You definitely need a car. We drove and parked at the train station and to dinner, shopping and to do laundry.

There is no there there. Not a complaint, but important to qualify my review.

Very nice and clean rooms, the lift was useful, breakfast was absolutely fine for 8€, 24/7 somebody in the house and enough parking spots outside. Close to the airport. AC worked just fine which was necessary at 28°C outside. Ordering pizza at room service worked very fast but note that every time you pay 5,50€ extra! The amount I was not told before!

The location is pretty bad if you don’t have a car, at least in the summer the 1,5/2km to the centrum to buy any food are awful. Only a few staff members spoke (some) English which was very difficult when cleaning personnel came into my room multiple times although I tried to tell them that I have stuff to do in the room right now. The receptionist at check-in tried to send me to my room multiple times without returning my passport first.

The hotel boasted a very comfortable bed, a clean room, and an excellent proximity to the airport, which greatly contributed to the ease and comfort of my stay.

However, during check-in, the staff attempted to retain the originals of my identification documents, a practice I find unacceptable. Additionally, despite booking a room with breakfast, due to an early departure, we couldn't utilize this service. There was no option to order a lunch box in advance, though we were grateful for the two croissants we were allowed to take in the morning.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is kind and nice, and they also helped us with suggestions for the rest of the trip. The staff did everything they could to ensure that we stayed in rooms next to each other and even upgraded one of the rooms for the same price. Good breakfast

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is not bad as you can get a bus to the town centre which takes you directly there. The breakfast is average but good. The coffee is great.

The only thing I didn't like was the strong smell of cats. I love animals but it was too much for me personally.

It's a "getting old" hotel, but i loved it. I find it funny imagining the good old hotels as humans. They're not what they used to be, but there is still a lot of pride in their history. The decor is getting outdated, but that's part of their life. The staff is super friendly and i feel they carry that proud feeling of working at Alan's hotel. I really enjoyed it.

Breakfast was excellent, except you had no black tea bags😳. Bed was great and you had adjoining rooms for the family.

Unfortunately, there were no restaurants nearby and we were too tired to drive anywhere.

everything about the hotel, lovely family run business, could not do enough for you.

would have liked to make a hot drink in my room, but having said this all is available at the bar next to reception anytime.
