During my hotel search, I was looking for a place downtown or near it: however, when I realized it was gonna rain for the whole two days of my stay in Bologna, I opted for an option away from the city center. Got a small room (11sqm), which was quite enough for me considering my very short stay (just two nights). Rooms aren't sound-proof, but I was lucky it didn't turn into an issue for me: there was a family in the room next to mine, and by 22:00 they were all quiet. The hotel has a parking, although not a big one (counted 5-6 spots), and there were no issues with leaving my motorbike there. All in all, a good option if you don't mind the big distance from the city center (15 km).

My daughter and I stayed her 2 nights. Very convenient for the airport however if you don't drive it means either a 15 minute walk to the nearest train station or a 25 minute ride on the number 23 bus. The hotel itself has great interior. It's beautiful inside. We stayed in 2 different rooms which have that Italian feel to it, both very clean. Towels, shampoo, soap and minibar all in the room. Great breakfast selection. Close to the airport.

Our only bugbear was the noise/thin walls. The first room was right next door to the eating area so we could hear scrapping of chairs, the lady who worked there banging the coffee/machine, plates clashing together etc. The next room was next to the family room and we could hear the child next door banging things and jumping up and down. We just wished it was closer to Bologna centre.

Arrived late at night due to Mille Miglia, which was no issue as the staff had sent me the entrance code for the door, and prepared the key with a little note, which was nice. Parking is possible in the back, which is nicely hidden from the main s treet. The lobby is lovely and very cosy, unfortunately I had little time to enjoy it. The room was very authentic and cosy as well as comfortable, including air conditioning. Check-out was very smooth. Would recommend!

We stayed at Hotel del Borgo and were very pleased with our experience! It’s a cozy and comfortable hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. I especially want to mention Victoria — she was incredibly kind and helpful, and we truly appreciated her support. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. It’s a great option if you need to stay near the airport. Also very convenient if you’re traveling by car — the parking is easy and accessible. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was not very various , but fresh and delicious. The lady who was helping for breakfast was very kind. We stayed in family room and it was comfortable. Bathroom was clean, towels are new and soft.

There was a construction just in front of the hotel and it didnt stop till the morning. It was really noisy. The receptionist was kind and helpfull. But the lady who came in the afternoon was really rude, just like she doesnt want to talk with us.

We liked the hat of the Indian from the Express laundry who was just passing through the middle of the restaurant during breakfast, with the stand full of dirty towels and sheets! Amazing!

In discrepancy with the professionalism of the receptionist, the waitress from breakfast place suffered a lot because she had to work so she slammed the plates and cutlery, washed the dishes in the same place as the coffee espresso machine, didn't let you sit wherever you want! After 9 o'clock, he no longer completes the breakfast meal...

Friendly, helpful staff and lovely clean and comfortable room. It was a perfect location for the Ducati factory which is why we booked the location. Breakfast was very good and value for money.

There was no outdoor area or bar and because the location is in more of an industrial area this meant our choices were very limited nearby without a taxi. We did however find the restaurant nearby which was very good.

Beautiful hotel located next to a Ducati museum. Very clean and beautifull rooms in old Bolognian style, modern windows, Air conditioning. Beautifull breakfast area with very good food and awesome coffee. Extremely friendly staff. Parking on the property is free. Eventhough we only stayed there for one night, this was the best accomodation experience of our 14 days roadtrip. Pure 10/10.

Rooms are exactly as in the picture. We also booked a family room that is actually a suite and is very nice for families. It is very clean and comfortable. We arrived after 23h but it was not a problem as we got a code for access and self check in. Rooms are warm and have heating even in the middle season like October -November It is easy to park in the area for free, and it is 5min from the airport.

The Tel for emergencies that is written on the door does not work.

Our airline changed our flight and we needed a place convenient to the airport so that we could get to BLQ at 5:00 a.m. Hotel del Borgo was perfect. When we checked in, the receptionist reserved a taxi for us, which indeed came at the appointed time. Our room for our short night was quiet and comfortable. We were not bothered by street noise, and the air conditioning worked fine. We would stay at Hotel Borgo again if we ever had another early flight from BLQ.
