We loved the place. I would have given it a 10, had it not been for the strong smell during the night as I stated below. The staff was great, our room had a very nice terrace, the food in the restaurant was delicious, and it was very convenient to the airport-a 3 minute drive. We will stay there again, but they really do need to do something about the strong smell when you are trying to sleep.

The smell (fragrance) in the room. We did not realize until we went to bed that night. We did not sleep as well as we would have because the smell was overpowering. I would have told the property without putting it in a review, but we left our room at 4:30 for an early flight. I'm sure they will fix the problem.

Hotel was very clean and had everything needed for a short stay. The Lady at the Reception ordered a taxi for me, which was a great help, because I had to be at the airport earlier earlier than the shuttle operation hours started.

I almost missed the check-in because the cut-off is 10 p.m. This is not clear from the information on-line. Luckily, I got a reminder e-mail at 9:30 p.m., and also luckily, I was already in Bologna, so I made it to the hotel at 9:57 p.m.

Light, airy and contemporary decor; friendly and efficient staff; spacious and clean room; convenient location for the airport. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and a very good menu. I had the best pizza I have ever eaten.

There is nothing to dislike unless you can’t stand the aircraft noise, as the hotel is very close to the runway! But then you would be stupid to book it as they make it clear on their website. I didn’t mind the noise at all and it’s not overnight.

Room ok with everything You need there. clean and tidy Restaurant on site with great food. Close to airport but at other side of it so need time to go around to get to it.

We had a room right above restaurant so quite loud from there because it is very busy Sat night. Also loud from airport but we expected this coz of location. Ok for one night. Found ear plugs in the room and was ok.

Not far away from airport, clean, there is a really nice restaurant on the first floor of hotel building. In the hotel description it is mentioned that it may be noisy because of the planes - but it was not noisy at all!

Taxi to the airport costed me 18EUR for a 10 min ride. I paid the same price to get to the city centre from airport (25 min ride). And there is no Uber so you need to let hosts know in advance if you need taxi. That's not the hotels fault, just be aware of it.

This is a lively, friendly and comfortable hotel. When we arrived at about 8pm the restaurant was full and very appealing. The bedroom and breakfast were both of good standard.

Previous reviews had said that the airport/aeroplane noise was a problem but actually it was not a real problem for us. The benefits of the hotel more than made up for any drawbacks in that respect. Regardless, we will certainly stay again.

The hotel is 5 minutes away from the airport, yet the noise of the planes is not bothersome at night. The staff was very professional and nice, they offered to call a taxi for us in the morning of our flight. They also offer a luggage storage service through an app for non-guests, which we used upon leaving as we couldn't take one of our bags with us. The restaurant is amazing with a beautiful garden, we had dinner there and both the food and the service were 10/10. The room was spacious, had a terrace, and was very clean and comfortable. ✨️ Will come back when in need of a hotel near Marconi Airport.

Lovely little clean family run hotel with excellent restaurant attached. The first night I stayed in room 3 and it was superb. Comfy bed nice size room. Huge terrace. Didn’t use the mini fridge or kettle but it was a nice touch. The 2nd stay here I was in room 4, the bed was not comfortable and I like a firm bed. This was so hard and I could feel the springs. I laid the blanket under me to add some cushion and doubled it made no difference. And the toilet seat needs to be bolted down better. Good a/c I did appreciate the desk booking a 04:30 taxi for me. Was only in the room 7 hrs second stay so didn’t have time to mention the bed. Overall superb if you need to stay near the airport. Don’t recommend walking (I did w/o luggage to get to the train) it’s a road and no sidewalk. Taxi is about €14

An excellent restaurant. Our room had a very nice private deck outside of our room, where we could watch planes land at the airport that was very nearby (~5 minute drive to our flight).

Very noisy, not just the nearby airport, but phone ringing at reception, people in other rooms, in hallway, etc. You really need good earplugs to sleep here. Also, many stairs but no elevator. The desk staff helped us with our luggage up to the room, but no one to help move it back down in the morning. Also the maid tried to enter without knocking at about 8am, while we were still in the room.

Location: close to the airport (the taxi will take you to the airport in less than 10 minutes); we were a little worried about the noise from the planes landing and taking off, especially since we received earplugs from the hotel, however, the noise didn't bother us at all and we didn't use the earplugs (I guess we were too tired to hear anything once we felt asleep); Room: clean and comfortable; Friendly staff; Great restaurant downstairs.
