I loved that the hotel is high up on the mountain and enjoys cool air in summer. It's secluded in the forest far from any town. The hotel is very dog friendly and everyone comes down to eat with the dogs. The view from the balcony is stunning! Dinner was good, albeit with a busy service. The breakfast was very good for its type - continental (they did have eggs!). Overall a great stay. I'd definitely stay here again. Maybe next time I'll come for more than one night.

1. The double bed in our room was two single beds pushed together, leaving a crack between the mattresses. 2. The shower head could use refurbishing, and the water pressure was just ok. 3. One functioning coffee machine at breakfast is not enough - there were 5-10 people in line at all times, and I had to stand in line for coffee for 10 minutes.

I had a lovely stay, the location is stunning and my room had beautiful views over the valley. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and gave me lots of information about the area. The food was excellent in the resturant and I was very impressed with everything that I had - I wish that I could have stayed longer!

There was nothing that I did not like but some people may not enjoy the long, narrow road to get to the hotel. I think it is worth it for the spectacular location.

Location location location. I would also add the overall image of the building - you can really feel the ‘Shinning’ atmosphere on every corner there; only winter and ‘red room’ were missing. The building must be so elegant during Mussolini’s time, now seems to be empty but on the other hand it has it’s charm. Great breakfast and VIEW…! Twin building on the left completely abandon. Extra emotional is the 7 km drive up the mountain to the hotel. Will definitely stay there again.

Almost non existing wifi in the room, was ok in the lobby, but unfortunately wifi these days is a must…even high in the mountains. Facility little rundown - I believe not enough customers to cover maintenance and reno cost in full; shame as this place is really beautiful.

Maybe, just maybe, a little more effort on breakfast like having option of plain yogurt, local artesian bread and one egg other than the only boiled egg. Also with all the herbs around to do infusion tea and waters will be nice around and free!

Pracatinat Hotel & Restaurant is an outstanding accomodation for mountain lovers. The staff is super professional and thoughtful. We have been checked-in two hours in advance and checked-out at 13:00 hrs, which was kindly granted by Marcello the reception manager. The rooms are very confortable and roomy above average. We enjoyed a very good aperol spritz at the beatiful bar terrace, an excellent dinner and continental breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The hotel it is located very close to beatiful hikes paths and in between colle dell'Assietta and Colle delle Finestre which are renowned waypoints of Trans Euro Trail (TET) network if you an adventure rider. The parking is free and the hotel has a garage for motorbikes. Real value for money. I highly recommend you the Pracatinat Hotel & Restaurant.

Outstanding setting, amazing views, quiet and idyllic with a touch of Wes Anderson. All staff was very helpful and polite, both at the restaurant but specially at the reception!

The responsiveness of the staff when I arrived at 2230. They rustled up some food from a closed kitchen. They were generally very friendly and helpful.

The decor was basic and worn. However, it was comfortable.

Great location in the mountains, stunning view. Building itself is something special. Great place for hiking into mountains.

Very modest breakfast, only very limited selection of food and drinks and even these were ran out quickly. Parking is free, but in the dark, away at the other building.
