Rooms were clean and spacious, with practical amenities. Kitchen was ok, although a bit tiny. Bedsheets and towels were provided. Location was fantastic, right next to the ski lift Nube d'Argento, which was very convenient. The host, Natalia, was very nice. When we had a problem in the middle of the night, we had to call the emergency number provided and she picked up, ready to assist us. Would repeat!

The shower was very narrow and the shower screen was a bit old and not closing completely, so the whole experience of having a shower was a bit uncomfortable. Some of the furniture was a bit "vintage"... still functional but some renovation would be nice.

The location to the lift is great, leave the door and the lift is 30m away. In terms of value for money unrivaled, and Federico and Natalia on the hotel reception are both exceptional. They are full of knowledge and so willing to help. From the photos the room was much bigger than we were expecting. We booked 2 rooms for 4 people, we were expecting not much more than a bed and a bathroom and the larger room we booked had a separate bedroom which was amazing for the price. I would 100% return. If you can get there go to Gennaros Pizzeria in Cessna, I think, Federico's recommendation is phenomenal.

Everything is a bit tired, and having to ask for some pots and pans seems a little strange. Not the apartments fault but Borgata needs a supermarket and bakery!!

Friendly staff, linked to hotel for facilities. Really close to lifts and great ski hire location. Bogata is a nice little village. Car or bus can get you into busier Sestriere main town in a few mins.

Noisy old building with very noisy other guests; though the hotel staff did get them to quieten down after first night chaos.

the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, they could do enough to help/offer tips and advice. The residence was very convenient for the main lifts - although the one right next to it no longer operates, the ‘Nuevo Nube’ (new version) was only 100m away and took you right to the top. the other residents were very respectful and quiet, in fact the whole stay was wonderfully peaceful. there’s no sound proofing in the rooms, but for my week there was no need. the apartment felt very clean when I arrived. I usually scurry around cleaning everything, but didn’t feel the need to this time! the free parking around Sestriere Borgata was a real bonus. I’d expected to have to pay €50 parking for the week, but the Residence staff pointed out that street parking was free, as was the car park just down from the apartments, so no need to pay anything. For EV drivers (or potential hirers) there’s also a charger in said car park - wish I’d have know as I would have hired an EV if I was confident in charging facilities.

I was very clearly told that, while bedding & towels were provided (of which there was plenty), there wasn’t any ‘pots & pans’. as I was hoping to self cater, I took that to mean there were no saucepans etc. I stopped at a supermarket on the way from the airport and stocked up on cooking ingredients, having packed my own saucepan (!!) but I found that the hob barely worked. it took TWO HOURS to boil a couple of eggs in the morning 🤪 and there was no kettle (they said no coffee making facilities, which I thought meant to coffee machine, not ‘no kettle’), so it also took me 40 mins to get the water hot enough to brew a teabag, which, incidentally, I had to make in one of the two glasses in the room, until I made it to a shop to buy a mug!) basically, this isn’t a self catered apartment, as there was little to no plates, cutlery etc. not just ‘no pots & pans’. the fridge was very useful though and worked well, which was helpful to store the mountain of cheese I ate the week I stayed! I don’t blame the accommodation for not telling me, more a misinterpretation by me. I gave away the sausage & chicken I bought, happily gorged on cheese & cold meats for much of the week, but also ate out (their sister accommodation Hotel D’Hermitage is just up the road, bang opposite the lifts, and do an exceptionally keenly priced 4 course meal every eve. there’s also a range of eateries if you drive up the hill back in to Sestriere. it’s worth noting that the prices, especially compared to France, are extremely favourable. slope side, you can get a mug of Twinings tea for €2!

Was warm and clean.

This apartment is advertised as Ski in Ski out also self catering. To ski in is very difficult due to obstacles. To ski out is impossible as the lift next to the apartment only ran once all week. The apartment has two heat rings and fridge and is advertised as self catering but dose not come with any cooking utensils, pot or pans also no bowl plates, kettle or cups. This is totally unacceptable and impossible to self cater especially when you have young children with you. The description on Booking.com is totally incorrect. Do not be fooled by booking.com description. Over all a poorly equipped apartment and over priced for lack of facilities.

This hotel was a bad experience and I don't recommend it. The staff did not speak English : very difficult to do the check-in. The room was dirty, there was no sponge, no dishwashing liquid, though it was said the kitchen would be equipped. The dishes were dirty too, the other clients had surely cleaned them without any cleaning liquid... The hotel is very noisy, you can hear the neighbors and the dogs barking in the rooms and corridors. You would rather choose another hotel.
