Absolutely amazing manager and team. My flight was delayed, my snow chains didn't fit my car and I was stranded in a blizzard at 2am. They tried to find me alternative accomodation and then drove to get me, before being up to cook breakfast at 7am. You don't get people in life like that very often anymore. I could not be more grateful - they are absolute gentlemen

We have been coming to Sestriere for several years, but this is the first time we have used the Il Frateivino hotel located in the heart of the town. Thanks to its location, everything a tourist needs is literally within reach. Shops, ski slopes, ski rentals and restaurants. Ski room also available. Above all, the professionalism of the owners Aldo and Mario deserves recognition, who personally take care of the comfort of their guests. They are very nice and helpful. It is an extremely pleasant place, with great service and perfectly clean. Very delicious breakfasts with local products of the highest quality. Thanks to the hotel's recommendation, discounts are available at equipment rentals, restaurants and SPA. A wonderful place that we will certainly visit regularly. Agnie and Piotr

Hotel is centrally located, close to slopes, amenities and restaurants with just a 4 minute walk to the main chair lift. Hotel is clean and tidy, but is in dire need of modernisation in terms of furniture, as the place feels tired. Staff is very helpful. Only thing we can complain about is that breakfast starts at 8pm which is a bit late for those who want to be on the slopes early. Other than that i would recommend for a centrally located hotel.

The staff were always helpful. The manager went out of his way to help us with restaurant bookings especially for a special occasion dinner. The breakfast buffet was amazing with so much choice and special orders for eggs. The room was spacious It's only 5 minutes walk from the main slopes.

The drying room is small and can be crowded in the morning when everyone is getting ready to go skiing

Lovely breakfast buffet with all you could want, plus they will cook you eggs/omelette and bacon to order every morning. My kids loved the pancakes/waffles with chocolate spread on tap!! Nice little bar to have something in the evening. The hotel has an arrangement with the restaurant beside offering 10% discount for hotel guests; food and service here are excellent.

Superb breakfast, the continental spread was excellent but we were offered cooked eggs as well, a real treat , scrambled, fried or ommelette. Hotel was quiet and comfortable and the reception bar was good for evening rendezvous's or a night cap. Excellent ski / boot room.

Breakfast definately did not start early enough. Needs to be from 7.30 not 8. There seemed to be a change of management faces on the last two days, Aldo who had looked after us superbly was obviously having some days off and the replacement team were not as accomodating causing us to be late leaving for the airport, but in the great scheme of things this was nothing, more a comment on how hospitable Aldo was.

We liked the manager Aldo. He was so supportive and sorted everything for us when we had a problem due to my son's ski boots going missing. Breakfast was excellent, always plenty with good variety, the room cleaning was spot on - I got into the habit of taking my shoes off at the door so as not to spoil the cleanliness of the floor! The room was always warm and the water always hot.

Very little, maybe the soap in the rooms but we used the body wash provided instead. The wood veneer on our room's fridge door needed replacing as did the bulb above the bathroom mirror but thise are very minor niggles.

The host work extremely hard to meet your needs. Good variety and plenty on offer for breakfast including gluten free. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. Everything you need a short walk from the slopes

The service was outstanding and amazing, the staff was really nice and helpful. The location is great in the center of the city close to the skies lift. The breakfast was really good. Highly recommend.

It was really clean and close to shops.

Nothing I didn’t like really . It was a bit noisy sometimes as my room was at the end next to the road . So the snowploughs would clear there at 5am. Can’t complain as I enjoyed the amount of snow we had!
