Although there are some renovations to be completed at the hotel this had no affect on our holiday. The hotel is in a perfect position for the ski slopes and lift. The hotel has been renovated to a good standard so far where all the hotel rooms have been updated to a good standard, the room we had , a junior suite which we had been upgraded to, was a good size and very comfortable with good size balcony and views of the slope. Even though the breakfast room wasn’t available yet at the hotel a good breakfast was provided at the hotel next door and wasn’t a problem at all to access. The position of the hotel is also perfect for accessing bars and restaurants around the town, so there was no problem with there currently being no bar yet at the hotel. Free tea/coffee was always available in the reception at the hotel too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and able to organise airport transfers for us. Definitely wouldn’t have any reservations about returning to the hotel even without its restaurant and bar, we very much enjoyed our stay.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, we had a very clean and modern room which was a good size. Breakfast was very good, with a very large selection and options (although it is all cold options). The hotel is very well located, both in terms of ski in and ski out (and they’ve recently added some steps to help you do this safer) and it is also a short walk into town. There is no parking at the hotel, but you can park very close for €7 a day.

Our room was very poorly insulated for sound, and if the room above decides to have a shower or move about it basically sounds like they’re doing it in your room. The mattresses are also very hard, we both found them very uncomfortable. There are some limited coffee and tea options in the room, and I asked for some English breakfast tea bags and milk for my room, whereby I was directed downstairs to the bar where they wanted to charge me €10 for 4 tea bags. I’m told it’s as they operate separately (you wouldn’t know this though as a guest) and the reception did try and then find me some from elsewhere but it didn’t sort the milk issue, and this should be a basic for a hotel of this level and cost.

Ski in, ski out is a game changer. Boot room lockers are heated Definitely the best looking hotel in town. The whole place is like a cozy log cabin The vibes in the hotel bar are very chill and lovely Very very clean We actually requested to move rooms due to a very minor issue and it was no problem.....great customer service The chaucuterie board is amazing. . We would absolutely book again.

The self egg boiler at breakfast gets a bit chaotic lol. It would be better to just have eggs boiled ready to go.

the staff were lovely, hotel beautiful and great location, rooms are modern with great facilitys, usb sockets, smart tvs in rooms with netflix etc. travelator outside the hotel takes you straight up to the Clotes lift which is very handy

its not a dislike at all just honest feedback. the breakfast was nice but not vast and it was continental only and 15euro each a day. evening menu isnt large and more bar snack type but still lovely food.

The hotel is stunning, absolutely beautiful, in a great location for both going to the shops as well as the slopes. Staff are great, nice size balcony and we was allowed to check in early as the room was ready.

The only downside were the pillows weren’t great, to be fair we didn’t ask if we could change pillows as didn’t notice until we went to bed at 11pm and thought it would be too late to change. Also no tea and coffee facilities which is a shame.

Everything is amazing! Nice staff and the hotel is in a good shape, good quality and clean, including in the rooms.

You can skip the breakfast as its is definitely not good value (unless you stuff yourself on all the pastries which are very good) and you don't get the good quality coffee with it. A chair or two in the room would be great, in addition to just the bed.

We’ve had an amazing time staying at the Avalanche and enjoying Italian Alps around. The hotel and room are very clean and modern, friendly staff, good breakfast and amazing views around! It was very convenient to leave all the ski equipment in the skiroom for the night and that the lift is literally straight near the hotel. We will definitely come back! Highly recommend!

Excellent variety of fruit, cereals, yogurt, pastries , meat and cheese, etc for breakfast. Great ham and cheese focaccia served in the bar. Extensive wine list. Spacious ski room right by the slope.

Not much not to like! An extra coffee machine for the busy breakfast period would be a help

The hotel reception and management team were fantastic: welcoming, helpful and very efficient. The room and ensuite were super clean and tastefully decorated. Heated ski lockers at bottom of chair lift just across from hotel, with ski equipment rental and servicing and restaurant and après ski bar in same building. Very easy access to slopes with chair lift right there too. During our stay the breakfast room was being refurbished so we were given vouchers to enjoy the very tasty and well stocked buffet breakfast at the hotel next door.

Everything was wonderfull. The location is great, close to everything you would want from a location like this. The rooms are spacious, the views magnifficent and the staff extraordinary. Clealiness is top notch as are the facilities in the hotel.

There is nothing to complain about.
