What a wonderful property in a dreamy location! Tolhof is perfectly positioned to view mountains and rolling hills dotted with rural chalets - sit on your balcony for sunset and marvel at the changing colours of the Dolomites whilst listening to the soothing subtle clink of bells whilst sheep graze. You may hear a cow moo now and then and the clocktower chime softly in the pretty village at the bottom of the road - a 1 min drive away for groceries cafes, restaurants, pastries and great coffee!

Wow, what a complete surprise. My husband and I booked this room last minute so we could walk the trail to the church and be in the land of Heidi. We went to town to get some snacks (7 minute walk) and when we talked to the visitor center to find the start of the trail, they said it was up the hill to the right. We said, "Wait, that is right out our door from our hotel". What a perfect location, There was a balcony to look at the Dolomites for the evening and they had beer in the refrigerator in the lobby as an honor bar. The breakfast was amazing. Such great hosts and it was fun trying to communicate since the manager/owner does not speak English.

It was perfect, there was nothing I would change.

Stunning property, one of the most beautiful hotel views we’ve seen on our trip through the Dolomites! Comfortable beds and lots of open space! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area. Breakfast was great too, local meats and cheeses!

Beautiful view from the balcony. Spotlessly clean room, well equipped and very comfortable bed. Very helpful staff. I liked the help yourself drinks room.

Clean, charming, comfortable, newly renovated apartment and of course the view from the balcony.

Breakfast could be better for €28. Not a complaint, just a warning, no restaurants nearby (need a car or walk further).

Absolutely clean, beautiful views from balcony, bed is comfortable, not far from the funes most famous views.

1.the old guy who appered at check in did not wanna talk,cold attitude,seems we come there not as a guest,he looks like my boss. 2.they are so weird,in my life first time encountered checking out time at 9.30am but breakfast time is from 08.00am to 10.00am. 3.breakfast is very simple, several salamis,milk only small cup,not enough for two people though(my partner said even jail will give more food than this).eggs are raw,u need to boil it by yourself.Look,if you did something wrong,maybe that old guy will not be satisfied,showed you impatience and disturbing so much. 4.i checked the comments from before,people mentioned the owner cold,not wanna talk too much,too many rules and so on,omg,how polite of people.i am very curious, if you guys are doing host job,why have that face to your guests,if you guys do not like this job or do not like people,do not host anyone,simple.Do something else you really like.... 5. when i returned the room key to this old guy,i said thank you,he is so ignorant,even did not say bye, we.had enough there,just wanna leave asap. 6.my partner had emergency call around 8am on our balcony,he is maybe bit loudly,this old guy from down looking for who is talking, like we did so bad and terrible things.It was 8am not 6am.at this moment,he seems so care for his guests. Anyway, i am responsible for my all speaking.We spent money to them for cold and ignorant attitude.I do not know this is called stupid or mental problem.we did not feel any help or warm from them. I sincerely suggested people be cautious and careful to choose them.Beautiful balcony views can not cover these weird things from them.
