The experience was excellent. First of all, I would like to point out, the road to get there is not nearly as bad, as we expected after reading the comments - yes, you have to be careful, but you can easily reach the hotel. The room was very clean, big, got everything we needed. The whole property is amazing, you can find soo many corners to just relax and drink some of the amazing Chianti wine. The location of the property is also great - just in between of everything (Siena, wineries, small towns ...). Two things really stood out: - kind people: every person we meet was extra kind and helpful: from the reception, to waiters, cleaning ladies etc. We forgot some things and they tried to help us with everything. Also helped with all of our questions. - great restaurant: the food was just amazing.

We thought the spa is a bit pricey for the time you can spend there (30 EUR per person for 1 hour). But this is just our opinion as we have many great spas in Slovenia.

The location was quiet which is what we wanted, the grounds were pretty, we didn’t use the pool but it looked good. Parking was good and close to the property. Breakfast was okay (other guests seemed to have an option for cooked eggs but we were never offered this) we only had dinner once and it was good. The room was clean. The staff were all friendly except the lady on reception when we arrived, she wasn’t very welcoming

Although there were a few pieces of furniture there was no drawer/shelf space for unpacking. The furniture was all a bit tired. The pillows were very thin and only 1 extra pillow in wardrobe, we asked for another and were told “only one extra pillow per room”!! by the rather unwelcoming lady on the reception desk, who after seeing our frustration got us one from another room.

Check-in was great. We had to wait only a few minutes for beds to be separated, and we were offered a glass of sparkling wine. The lady was very pleasant and efficient. Staff overall wery nice at all times. The pool area is great. Easy parking. Wine tasting at the property was great. Also rooms are quite spacious and very comfortable, great water pressure!

Breakfast could have more variables of savoury options-eggs, vegetables, also have options of soy or almond milk - and replenish food more often. Cakes on one day were dry, but the next day was excellent.

This property was outstanding, starting from the way to the hotel the entrance the property was so clean, the style and atmosphere of it was incredible.. we enjoyed the pool so much the breakfast was incredible so fresh and tasty felt like everything they served was just picked and made, we also had dinner one night at the hotel’s restaurant and we enjoyed it so much. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and very welcoming and service oriented We really recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for the perfect Tuscany experience

Beautiful location in heritage mill with wonderful food and local wines for dinner. The waiter was fantastic giving us an excellent choices in the food and wine from his in depth knowledge and expertise. Breakfast was also great - very generous.

The beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable - time for some upgrades.

Absolutely beautiful old castle accommodation in Chianti. Super quiet, lovely grounds and pool area, and lovely older style super spacious rooms. Very relaxing for a few days stay. Front desk provided easy check-in process and gave some great local recommendations for wine tasting, castle visits and food - much appreciated!!! Such a special place and we can’t wait to visit again!

While having breakfast onsite two older American couples unnecessarily commented (loud enough for us to hear) and rolled their eyes “ugh, we didn’t think young people were allowed to stay here” and proceeded to be rude to us the next two days! We are nearly 40yo so not exactly young party go-ers haha bizarre behaviour but oh well, I guess the hotel isn’t able to manage how their clientele will behave!

Beautiful hotel with a lovely swimming pool and good restaurant. Breakfast was nice, with the option for freshly cooked eggs. We were celebrating our engagement and they put a bottle of prosecco in our room free of charge! Friendly staff. Good location to drive around chianti.

Strange rule around the pool that said each room was only allowed to use one sunbed and one chair (Im not sure if this was enforced but still a bit strange, most rooms would need 2 beds). Bit of a flying ant problem (in August), some fans around the eating area would have helped this.

The hotel has a really romantic atmosphere about it. The room was nice and had everything we needed, even a tv on which most new apps were installed (Netflix etc.) and there’s also an elevator in the main building. Breakfast was really good and also the restaurant at night served some really good food and wines. The pool is small but it serves its purpose and there’s enough sunbeds and umbrellas. Everything was clean and the staff was really nice.

Just a heads up: the road to get to the hotel is old and wobbly and pretty steep in some parts. The shower in our room was pretty small and slippery but we managed. Other than that we had a really lovely time at Le Pozze Di Lecchi.

Beautiful buildings set in the most peaceful and stunning location you can wish for. Staff were great and very helpful, especially the night porter who served us a full breakfast spread at 5:30am as we had to leave early for a cycling event.

The spa is overpriced with several faults. The drive is very long and gravelly, no problem for us but might be inconvenient for some.

The property is very beautiful and well taking care off. We like the typical tuscan style and the breakfast and all the staff which was serving the breakfast.

From the pictures the property looked a lot bigger and the room as well. We didn’t liked the fact that we were given the room from the ground floor. There is just one room there and it was given to us so we were deprived of a beautiful view. The person from the reception was very bored when we got at the location.
