Room was big, clean, comfortable, quiet (despite being next to the airport runway). Dog-friendly, good wifi, good free parking in front of the hotel. Some good restaurants close by. Breakfast was very good.

Our room had a view over the airport runway and industrial buildings. Shower was inside the bathtub, so is quite slippery and not so easy to access for everybody. The emergency string in the shower hanging next to you was mouldy. A little overpriced, and definitely not a "resort". A small hotel squeezed between airport facilities and the private marina.

The hotel is situated in a marina, close to Genoa Christofer Columbus airport. The rooms were modem and spacious. We had a balcony /terrace on the first floor. Breakfast was great and the Marina Place’s surroundings were very interesting, with plenty of boats restaurants and bars.

Nothing. Everything was great. We Columbo by taxi. The property is located in a working marina. (You have to access it through a kind of industrial estate, so it is not within easy walking distance to the airport.) We took a very short taxi ride to the airport, the next morning. The hotel arranged the taxi and it arrived in just a few minutes, so that was great.

If you were later coming down for breakfast not all food options available earlier were available. Some noise from weekend parties on the boats and nearby bars but tolerable. The rooms and upper floors decoration are excellent and yet the entrance and reception area are very bland and almost a little off-putting in terms of expectations. This aspect of Marina Place's presentation could be much improved.

Location was a dream. Looking outside the window and watching the boats was fantastic. There is a Sushi restaurant next door with an amazing food. One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been with regards to the food and price. Friendly service too. There is also a pizza restaurant that is always fool that means it must be good too. I also saw people walking to the airport because it is just next door too. No plane noise inside the hotel at all. Huge free car park. Very easy to get to city centre. I drove and parked the car next to the aquarium.

Breakfast is not that great but as I am not a breakfast person, it’s ok for me.

This hotel had the most spacious rooms of any we have visited in Italy. The drive to the hotel doesn't look promising as you go through an industrial shipyard area, but once at the marina, the hotel location was just what we wanted. I always rent a hotel the last night of a vacation that is close to the airport for the convenience of departure back to home. The breakfast was great; there were 3 great restaurants to suit lunch and dinner and different price points. The decor is very modern and made good use of its being right on the marina with views of luxury boats. Staff was great, and there is an expanse of included parking.

There are a few worn areas that could use attention for example, the wood veneer at windows was chipped and peeling, one of the shades was frayed and had a broken chain so couldn't be used, and while there is a thoughtful amenity of coffee and tea maker, there were no cups. Small items that are easily rectified.

It was perfectly located, with very helpful staff and a nice and spacious room, very well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good both for the salty and sweet products. The view was also nice.

We could hear the planes, as it is really close to the airport. Since there were no planes late at night or early in the morning, it was not really a problem.

Helpful staff, kind and helpful receptionist. Great tea selection in the common area. Free parking, with many places, and very close to the hotel. Hair conditioner and complete vanity kit (e.g. makeup remover) in the bathroom. Great bed. Train to the city center runs often and not undemanding.

But it is quite far, the bus which runs between the hotel and the train station runs only until 19:45. Ticket necessary – but the receptionist does not mention it, neither where you can buy it; somewhere nearby (to the hotel and the bus stop). Breakfast only until 9:30. Breakfast staff is not kind, and they refill the fruit juice slowly. Sliced fruit completely runs out. Smoking is allowed at breakfast. The blackout curtain in the room does not close completely. Slow wifi. No hall door, so no door between the bed and the corridor door – still many hotels forget it, while it has strong impact on noise isolation!

Nice, small hotel with a couple of restaurants nearby. The room was clean with a nice view over the harbor. The Hamam bath was a great addition to the hotel room.

The location was bad, maybe due to the timing of our visit in late December. The streets were dirty. It's problematic to get to the hotel without a car and impossible by foot.

There is no 24/7 reception desk, however, the check-in process for late arrivals is quite interesting and thrilling yet well set. You'd receive a code to enter the hotel, and then you'd pick up an envelope with room keys / cards. Very pleasant experience communicating with the personnel of this hotel. Good breakfast.

I would also add a bar to this place.

First, I must express my gratitude and appreciation to the receptionist, Christina, for her care towards the guests and for providing all the tourist information and guidance about the city of Genoa. It was an exceptional experience. I highly recommend staying at the hotel.

It’s somewhat away from the city center
