Hotel is located in the old town and very close to the beach.

Parking in hotel's area is nightmare, definitely recommend booking parking place in the hotel. If available. I've been in most budget hotels in Grado as I'm comming there once a month for a weekend. This was the worst so far still not being the cheapest option available. Ants in the room looking like dormitory. Breakfast is a joke. Barely working dirty coffee machine, poor choice of anything, veggies cut with an axe and throw on the plate. I treat this stay as curiosity, simply wanted to be closer to the old town...but ppl ale staying there for a week!

We have already been to Stella Maris for several stop overs. You do not have to expect something fancy or new. It is outdated, not so practical (no sun shades ex), but why we always go there is because of the great location and the direct view to the sea. That is magical. If it is available, you can also park the car in the hotel's parking lot for 15 Eur/night.

The balcony should be covered with sunshade, otherwise it is difficult to stay there.

The location of the hotel is perfect; right by the sea, but only a two-minute walk to the old town. Inspite of the quite simple room the bed was really comfortable, and the daily cleaning (all the linen was changed every day) was really nice to have. It was great to start the day with the excellent breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Francesca at the reception. :)

It would be nice to stay in a little bit more modernized room. The balcony would be more enjoyable during the day if it had a shader.

Maybe Stella Maris is not the most modern hotel in Italy, but nothing can beat the panorama of the sea and its atmosphere, therefore we came back already different times. One of our nicest night during the whole year was the first night in Stella Maris, with the opened windows, noise of the sea and the little wind that entered to the room, with the light of the moon as it expands on the sea. During the day it is so convenient to walk to the beach, which is also literally just a few steps from the hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful, the guests are also nice people.

The location is very close to the sea. Not directly at the beach but max 5 min away. It is also located near a supermarket and lots of restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The room was pretty big with TV, wardrope, table and chair. The bathroom was not the biggest but its size and equipment was perfectly adequate.

The breakfast was ok, but it lacked a little in variety. But still tasty and with dietary options. The parking space is available but the entrance is narrow and with larger car (without sensors and cameras) it is impossible to dříve there. However, the satff was happy to point us to a cheaper parking area 10 min (walking) away from the hotel.

The staff at the reception was better than in any other place I have even been to! Really best advice and helpfulness! The location of the hotel is very good.

I would say, that if the walls were coloured in some joyful colour and the curtains were changed, the impression would be much better. The facilities are fine, but the first impression of the room was not so nice.

The hotel is nice, the room as well, perfect location, very kind team, nice breakfast, comfy bed. There was a delicious smell of freshly baked cake and bread in the morning.

3 things, which were not great: the toilet flash button was very hard to press, there was dripping water in the night from the toilet, which was annoying when trying to sleep. A vegan spread as a humus, could have been nice for Vegans. We booked very last minute, otherwise I am sure they would have had something if I wrote them in advance.

Perfect location. Right by local ameneties and in quieter area if town (although you can hear beach parties in the eve, it's fine once you close the blinds). The views from the sea facing rooms are stunning and the balconies a great spot for an evening drink. Rooms are basic but have everything you need,including safe,fridge and toiletries. Beds are comfortable and air con was working. Would reccomend for a lovely stay.

Breakfast was OK. Would've been nice to have real coffee included instead of machine one.

The hotel is located right at the sea and 1 minute walk from the restaurant streets. The interior is dated and the bathroom is very small but it has a special flair to it. We didn’t mind. The walls are very thin, so you hear your neighbours. The breakfast has a good selection of ham and cheese, musli and fruit. The best part of the hotel is the staff. There is a lovely lady who can help you with almost anything. She knows the area very well and can give you just about any recommendation. She is a real darling!

Beautiful sea view from the room. Breakfast was very good. Ladies at the reception desk were always genuinely kind and helpful.

Bathroom was quite tiny and could be renovated.
