I liked the location of the hotel and the large rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

I didn't like that the rooms are not soundproof - you can hear the whole conversation of the people in the next room. We are not happy with the New Year's Eve party. The New Year's Eve dinner in Sole restaurant was good in terms of food, but there was no music for dancing, no place to dance and no way to celebrate when the New Year had come. The music that accompanied the dinner was relaxing and suitable for a bar, but not for a New Year's Eve party. People wanted to dance and have fun, but there was no suitable music for that.

Spacious clean lovely breakfast and breakfast also had an amazing dinner there we didn’t venture out as it was raining that night staff super awesome at reception including the manager Antonio we had an issue with having a room with a bath which would have been difficult for my wife to access and he promptly gave us another room whilst it was smaller and didn’t have the separate lounge area having a shower was much more important to us as my wife had a double knee replacement!

Not much to dislike really everyone and everything was lovely!

The room was very nice, big wardrobe, design place. The breakfast was nice, rich as we expected. Hotel has its own parking place for fair price of 15 Eur per night. The position of hotel was very good. We enjoyed our stay.

If you want to switch off the airconditioning, the best is open the window as well, as it has some automatic feature and it switch on during your sleep. It is small technicality, otherwise all was fine.

The location of the hotel is very good: in the city centre and a lot can be done by foot. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly. The only negative point was that the rooms were quite cold and even turning up the heating did not make much difference.

More options than a regular hotel for veg/vegan diet at breakfast! I also didn't had to ask for the options as all allergies where listed with numbers. I am vegan. But people with gluten allergy> look no further! Staff at breakfast were also really kind, kept everything in check, dirty plates were taken away in no time. Nice spacious rooms. Hotel has more character because of use of colors and paintings/art. Hotel is in a safe area. Whole of Lecce felt safe. Location is perfect for walking to Lecce city centre. Also perfect for if you come with the car, since at the end of the street the residential area starts and you can park you car for cheap/free after 20.00 (hotel parking was available but 20 euro).

Tip: provide a small map of Lecce with basic info.

The hotel is in a very attractive location in close proximity to the Lecce Оld town and many different shops. The staff is responsive and kind. It is easily accessible by public transport with the C2 Bus from the Central Station.

I would recommend fully reconstruction and renew the furniture in the room, especially change of a decorative bar on the windows which is of non-opening.

Very minor issue but was told that breakfast ended at 10:30 but when I got there at 10 they were finishing up, tbf 10 is what they advertised so think communication issue rather than finishing early

Size of the room was exceptional! Staff were helpful and friendly making us feel as ease. Parking was accomodated for despite not booking without a fuss. A very good map was provides for the local area.

The quality and functionality of the wardrobes were poor and not all useable. Tea and Coffee is not available in the room. Nor is an iron/iron board available.

Had a really good two day stay at the Mercury Hotel We had. A room upgrade which is always nice,The room was big and spacious The receptionists were very friendly and helpful The Hotel has an underground garage,which costs 15e a night,but well worth it Breakfast was ok,nothing special All in all we had a good stay

Nothing that stood out to us

The staff were extremely nice. The bedrooms were huge and very comfortable--we got an excellent night's sleep. The restaurant was nice and fuss-free with a friendly waitress. It's also a great central location near lots of shops and the historic town.

The toilet was a little difficult to flush but we got the hang of it after a few goes.
