The view was amazing for the price. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I was doing the Tour de Monte Rosa trek, and the lady at the reception even arranged for me to be taken up to the Passo Moro by lift in the morning, even though the cable car wasn’t running that day. Really appreciated the extra effort!

The breakfast had a wide variety of sweet options — toast, croissants, granola, and more — but nothing really filling or high in calories, which would be important if you’re going trekking. It would be great if they could add something like an omelette or some kind of meat option for those who need more energy for the day.

Hotel Dufour is in the centre of the village, within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, and ski slopes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the buffet-style breakfast provided everything we needed for our activity-based holiday. We were able to park in a small space adjacent to the hotel. In four days we made only one excursion by car.

Not a real problem, but the last 30km from the highway to the village is along a twisting mountain road, through some small villages and required constant concentration.

Just incredible. The room was lovely and silent, bed was comfy, nice hot shower, the location was perfect and the breakfast.... AMAZING! Highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely worth it.

Its located at the center of Macugnaga and all the restaurants, stores and souvenir shops are beyond your reach ♥️ parking spaces even if its not for free but its all affordable and accessible 👍

Very cozy hotel situated in the town centre with great staff, tasty food and a relaxing atmosphere. The prettiest element has to be the balcony with the amazing view of Mount Rosa. The Staff is super friendly and always available to assist you with any issue. Nice breakfast with many foods and beverages to choose from and the possibility of having fresh cheese and cold cuts served to you at the table. The hotel was clean and overall I had and incredible experience and will be back for sure. Highly recommend!

Bed size a little too small for two people, we would fit in just right and moving around at night wasn't that easy.

Very pleasant and centrally located hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast. We were lucky to get an on- site parking space (6 Euros/ night). Our room had a balcony and mountain view.

A kettle/ coffee making facilities would have been good.

The room is warm and has everything I need, even disposable slippers. The staff is super-friendly. I had dinner in the hotel and it was delicious. The breakfast has rich variety of food. The hotel has private parking - very handy.

A breakfast is a bit strange - was supposed to be a buffet, but I was forced to ask the staff to bring specific food, that was not present on the table. They did not have eggs at all - no omelette, no fried eggs, no boiled ones. Till now I considered these as must for any hotel.but
