The hotel oozes style and sophistication. It's in an area with several restaurants which are all within walking distance. We had a beautiful room which led out to the pool area which we really appreciated. The staff were always extremely helpful and pleasant. We would have no hesitation to return. We were meant to travel to another island, however Signum alerted us to upcoming bad weather and volunteered that we could, without charge, amend out booking to make sure we could travel to where we needed to get to. Extremely generous and helpful of them.

I can’t fault this place or our stay everything was incredible and way above and beyond expectation down to the size of the property, how beautiful and spectacular it was. The staff are incredible, so helpful and friendly and a special mention to Raffaele not only were his drink creations unlike anything you will ever have he was so warm and friendly and was a highlight of our trip. Not to mention although we didn’t get to try the Michelin restaurant we had the food from the bistro and wow it was amazing and I wouldn’t say we are easy critics either. I would say to upgrade your stay here as it is truly worth it and we walked away feeling like we got a steal with this stay.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were just incredible. Warm, kind, funny and very very cool. You always felt taken care of and as if you are amongst friends. But also you are not overly fussed over. It was a discreet and seamless experience. It was also very peaceful. Then there are the views. The simple but elegant rooms. The gardens. It's just a magical place.

The bistro menu was OK but I suspect the Michelin star menu is much better. If there is a way of blending the two that would be amazing.

The hotel surroundings, staff, view, and charm are absolutely beautiful and impossible to replicate on the island of Salina. It is by far the most charming hotel in Salina and one of the nicest in Sicily. This hotel is very much a special place with a great, quiet, charming experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay a pleasure.

The bistrot menu was very expensive in comparison to similar hotels on the island and surprisingly expensive I must say when taking into accounts guests stay for quite a few days, which didn't provide the best value for money as you intended to eat/drink quite often at the hotel, the cover charge for hotel guests eating lunch was unnecessary as well as the added room service charge. The menu for breakfast similarly was expensive compared to similar hotels we visited during our stay (price of coffee was triple vs other places) The room could use: a minibar more furnished, a small music station, free bottles of water on arrival (or daily), which is standard for hotel of that rate/price.

The Signum is the most beautiful boutique hotel in the Aeolian Islands. Led by the Caruso family, with a great sense of beauty and hospitality, our experience has exceeded our expectations. The fine dining and the regular restaurant are full of local products and traditional flavors (with an eye to the future and innovation). I recommend trying and tasting the excellent Aeolian wines, including those from the same family. Thank you for this fantastic experience. We will be back.

The design of the hotel

The cost of breakfast. We stay in many boutique and 5 star hotels but thought that the buffet for 25 euros was quite poor and then to pay an extra 10 euros for 1 egg was a little outrageous. We are always happy to pay for great food and whilst the lunch we had was excellent we thought the breakfast was very poor value....

The hotel was in a fabulous location and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. We wished that we had stayed here for the full time of our stay in Salina.

The shower pressure was very low from the overhead shower but otherwise everything was great.

Really excellent breakfast. Highest quality products, absolutely perfect. Luckily, the breakfast was included in the room rate. If not, we would have paid 131€ (!) for a (again: really excellent!) breakfast for two persons.

Uncomfortable furniture on the terrasse. Noisy room. WiFi not working throughout our whole stay. Having paid more than 700 € per night, I simply cannot say that this was worth the money.

Possibly the best hotel we stayed in during our two week honeymoon in east coast Sicily, Vulcano & Salina, Malfa is delightful, the staff couldnt have been more helpful booking transfers, boat & scooter rental & vineyards etc. Spa was lovely and the food and drinks too! Plus the local beach is great fun and only a short walk away. Highly recommend.

The Hotel's position on the terraced mountain is superb with views over the sea and adjacent islands. The infinity pool is also positioned with amazing views of the sea and horizon. The rooms are very comfortable and the attentive staff are always willing to assist.Recommend the food and accompanying drinks. Especially cocktails on the terrace!!!
