I am vegan and I asked Simona, the host, if I could have something vegan for breakfast and she has baked me a vegan cake, which was very sweet of her. She always had freshly baked cakes for breakfast. She was very understanding, she helped us with multiple taxis when we were struggling to order one in Italian, she has accommodated us very well and made us feel welcome. The villa is very beautiful and in a good location, very quiet and didn’t miss any facilities. Overall a very pleasant stay and a very sweet and helpful host!

If you are planning on travelling to Mantova, do not rely on taxis because they are quite expensive and hard to find. If you plan to visit the villa, I recommend having your own form of transportation.

We have a dog, so the grounds were great for letting her run around. Simone was so nice and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. They also have wine and drinks in a fridge on the honor system, so we had a bottle of wine one night and sat outside on one of the patio couches with our dog.

We couldn't get the wifi to work but maybe we had the wrong password. And although my husband & I take very short showers, there was really only enough hot water for one person - which was okay because it was very hot, but in the winter it wouldn't be so nice. Finally, it's next door to a farm with cattle so it was a little smelly at times.

The house is lovely. The garden too. Simona is very friendly and professional

There is a farm next door. In the morning you can hear the cows.. Also, you sent a smell of stables

the breakfast was very good and plenty of choices with pastries and fruit and tea or coffee

The only matter I could say was the room was dark, however this is an old house with small windows but more than acceptable to me and my wife

The house felt nice. Our room was very nice, big enough, the furniture appropriate, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was big enough and had mostly everything we needed. The breakfast was simple, but plenty. The host was very nice and hospitable.

Our room did not have air-conditioning, so it was rather hot inside, which caused us some discomfort. The bathroom was stuffy and damp too, and we could not leave the windows open at night because the insect-mesh was damaged or simply not there, so mosquitos, roaches and lizards easily got inside.

Comfortable rooms , located oustide of Mantua . All the comfort you can expect from a traditional Agriturismo.

The villa is located next to a farm which was not obvious when we booked . The breakfast is minimalistic Italian , nothing wrong with that, but if the majority of your guests are European it might be good to adapt a little to accomodate for those guests. The host was a bit reluctant to talk.
