The flat is large, well furnished and in the middle of the old city. It is a real flat furnished to the owners somewhat kitch tastes, I really liked it. There was a seemingly endless supply of tea, coffee, chocolates and dry snacks which was very generous. Price was very attractive. I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

The location is great, and the owner was very kind and waited patiently for us when our train was delayed. The apartment is a good size. All of the described amenities were present.

The apartment is a bit over furnished, which felt cluttered. It may be time to consider new bedspread and linens.

The apartment is in a wonderful position: you walk out of the door and there is the great Sant Andrea facade - and lots of cafes and restaurants close at hand. The hosts were very welcoming with the owner's son providing the English and they provided lots of provisions. The apartment was comfortable and clean and it was a real advantage to be able to cook.

Everything: the place, the city, the localisation, the fact that they were everything for a good breakfast, .....and the landlord was friendly and helpful. Furthermore, Mantua is a beautiful small and quiet city.

Location. Right in the heart of the historic city centre, yet on a quiet street behind a row of arcaded shops. In 2 minutes, you were at the basilica of San Andrea. Apartment was warm and cosy with yellow lights throughout. A cosy living area with a sofa links the kitchen (entrance to apartment) to the spacious bedroom. And the kitchen is so well furnished you can find almost everything you need (endless supply of breakfast items, an array of washing machine detergent, a pile of multi sockets and dumbbells if you are inclined to work out !). The kitchen supplies were perfect for cooking all our meals. Would return there if ever in Mantova again, 200%!

Cannot really find a single fault. Well, maybe a couple of minor details. The cooking hood wasn’t working and the space between the bathroom door and sink was a bit of a tight squeeze. But not a complaint and certainly in no way did it detract from the super experience at Casa Barbara.

Everything was exceptional. Very clean, very well supplied in every way. Owner quite friendly and welcoming. Great location in this beautiful city.

The location of the house is perfect. It's really in the center, close to everything including the main squares and the train station. The apartment is well cleaned and cosy. It's perfect for a short stay in Mantova. The owner was really welcoming and helpful on check in and was available throughout the whole stay.

I was expecting the breakfast to be something more traditional and fresh instead of the ready made supermarket pastries, but it was fine since we wouldn't have much time to have breakfast otherwise. My only concern is that in the toilet there is a big window facing the courtyard and even if the glass is only translucid it does make you feel a bit exposed.

Warm welcome by Barbara (the hostess), a lovely little house with everything you need for a great stay. Top location at the Historic Centre of Mantova.
