I recently stayed at Ca’ Tazzoli in Mantua and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service. Prior to my arrival, a courteous lady from the hotel contacted me to provide detailed information, ensuring a seamless check-in despite my late arrival. This proactive approach greatly facilitated my travel plans. The hotel’s central location is ideal, situated near Piazza Sordello and within walking distance of Mantua’s major attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant stay.

Best location in town just in between several Piazzas. Good service and breakfast. We were lucky to get parking place in Tazzoli Street twice. Plazza Erbe and the nice churches are so close, so I visited them 3-4 times a day. We checked out when there was a market-day in all the center of town. It was a surprise and a great experience.

Parking in the street can be a problem. We were lucky but one can find himself parking long distance from the hotel. I believe that there is parking in the hotel but it was full.

Everything about this stay was great. From the friendly staff, to the excellent location in the historic centre, to the comfortable room overlooking the square. We were unexpectedly upgraded and the staff were super helpful with information. It was a great place to explore what Mantova has to offer. We arrived by train and with little luggage for an overnight stay it was an easy 12 minute walk under the porticos to arrive.

Our room was simply furnished but delightful, and the hotel is incredibly conveniently situated, within walking distance of most of the major cultural and historical sites in Mantua, right on the main square. Having a garage adjacent to the hotel was also enormously useful and the staff arranged permits for the Low Emission Zone area together with the parking permit. Breakfast was plentiful and good, and all staff were very helpful and professional. I would particularly like to praise Gaia, who went to a lot of trouble organising and booking restaurants for us, and who was so helpful and calm when we arrived much later than planned.

The room had no spare blankets, so we had to ask for extras, because the weather was unseasonably cold. However, once we asked, they were brought immediately, by kind and accommodating staff.

The front desk reception staff was outstanding and helpful. The room was very clean. The access to the garage by elevator was fantastic as was the superb breakfast buffet. Also the location was great, close walk to the ducal palace.

The downside was the small and narrow size of the room and twin beds very close together.

Great hotel; great location and to what a price! Mantova is really worth the visit and with this hotel, the experience is just even better. Friendly, central and clean. What would one want more?

The check in was easy even though the room was at a different location. Just a few minutes away. Good-sized room with a lovely ceiling. Very narrow stairs; wait for the elevator. Big breakfast buffet.

Central place, historical building, air conditioning in the room in a very hot day.

No car places available. Had to pay extra 16 euros for public parking and had to walk all the way to the hotel with my luggage.

Convenient and close to town , lovely area. Main bedroom and bathroom spacious and elegant.

The kitchen requires more cooking equipment, plates, bowls, utensils etc. Not sufficiently equipped to prepare meals.

A very clean b&b in the heart of this beautiful city. Our room was perfect with a great view over the piazza.

No coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
