Casa Poli was a thoroughly pleasant experience, which exceeded my expectations. Top reasons: + Staff > extremely nice, attentive and helpful with great endeavour to make guests happy + Room & bathroom > modern tasteful design | comprehensive equipment in top shape and spotlessly clean (esp. to mention: good reading lamps) | comfortable noise protection of wall and windows (during my trip in Italy this was the only hotel where nothing was heard from the adjacent rooms, even though they were all occupied) + Breakfast > rich buffet with high-quality products (in my opinion above standard in Italy) "Grazie mille" to the Casa Poli team. And special thanks to Rachele who helped me with much concern when I fell victim of a national train strike on my departure day.

Size of rooms, cleanliness, modern design features, responsiveness of all staff members (for example reservations). The ease of arriving, being permitted to park outside and get settled before driving around to the secured parking courtyard made the arrival more welcoming especially after a long drive.

Perhaps charging guests for bicycles when paying a 4-star hotel rate.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the two big Pallazzo attractions in Mantua - each being ~20 minute walk. The staff was very kind, informative and helpful. The hotel offers paid parking but it is in a small yard reachable via a tight alley. The staff very patiently instructs and guides on how to reach the parking and how to park within the yard. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied - and the staff prepare eggs. The rooms were spacious and quite comfortable.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Gave excellent suggestions for things to see or try.

Not much you could complain about. Most things needed to be walked to as transport around the small town is tricky if you want to drive. This (the need to walk everywhere) was not an issue for us

Very nice bedroom and bathroom…spacious, very comfortable and well designed. Pleasant and helpful staff. Parking garage easy to access if you arrive by car (but you need to book a spot ahead of time). Tea/coffee station in the lobby available for guests use at all times.

Shower too small, especially given the comfortable size of the bathroom. We enjoyed the walk into the old city but it is a bit long for those who might have difficulty walking long distances (25 mins).

Reception staff is super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with excellent facilities. Location is on the edge of old town which we actually found better than being in the old center. Easy to walk to anywhere and several great restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

Stuff was great, From the reception to the people who take care of breakfast, everyone was very kind and helpful, very clean and comfortable, parking behind the hotel was great too, location is good 10 min walk to the centre and 10 min walk to the palazzo Te,

The service all staff are so kind and nice, room is clean and comfortable for all, delicious breakfast! The best one hotel in Mantova, the hotel have parking but you need to pay and I can accept that price because security are perfect all

The hotel is located near the Old Town. Silent air conditioning, minimalist furniture, good breakfast, friendly staff, parking in the inner courtyard.

The bathroom cannot accommodate more than 2*. There is no shower cabin but only a shower on the floor with a curtain under which water flows throughout the bathroom. The sink, although large, does not have an edge on which you can put the kit with personal items. The mirror is narrow, placed between the half of the sink and the shower curtain. If you stand in front of the sink, you don't have a mirror to use. The price of 174 euros per night for a comfort room is inappropriate, plus 15 euros per day parking in the inner courtyard.

Very nice staff, great breakfast and great location! Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.

We did not like the set-up of the room, it felt very small. The price was higher compared to what we usually pay in Italy - but during my research I didn’t find anything with similar quality and lower price, so it might be a local issue.
