Room was excellent - generous size, large well-equipped bathroom, quiet, well-heated. Hotel location is perfect, just 10 min walk from station, and close to the old city. On a quiet street. The host Dannj is very friendly, excellent communication before and during our stay, helpful advice and suggestions while there.

We definitely strongly recommend this hotel. The location and facilities are perfect. The breakfast is OK, and included gluten-free bread and other items - but it could have had maybe some cheese and/or egg options and less sweet pastries.

Excellent service from start to finish, Dannji sent a series of WhatsApp messages in the run up to our booking explaining various things, including very clear directions and check-in instructions. Room was lovely with nice welcoming touches (chocolates and snacks) and was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a variety of different pastries etc each day. Location was great, right next to Theatre, 10 minutes walk from train station and Ducal Palace and 20 mins walk to Palazzo Te. Dannji was happy to give sightseeing tips based on local knowledge, we felt very well looked after.

The room I had was at the top of the tall thin building beneath the rafters. The bed was enormous. There are windows on both sides, to a quiet street on one side and an inner courtyard on the other. Lots of character. Good coffee and a good spread of food for breakfast. Close to the station and the historic centre and major attractions of the city. Super friendly host and faultless joining arrangements.

Very slick checking in process with instructions and a door code shared in advance. Room beautifully presented, comfortable bed, with very good aircon. Clean and well equipped room and bathroom with nice toiletries, towels and drinks/snacks and a fridge (which we unplugged at night). Nice continental breakfast included and a left luggage facility. Friendly and helpful host. Walking distance to most attractions.

Very good location, very good communication how to get in etc. before arriving & on arrival greeted by the genial host. Even though there is a small stairway area there was an elevator which was appreciated after a long bike ride to Mantova. Once settled it was a 5 minute walk to the historic centre & in the morning a short ride to the train station.

Great location. Clean, quiet, and large comfortable room. Two large windows with screens! Super friendly and helpful host/owner with tips on what to see in Mantua. Very small elevator. Excellent breakfast buffet. We were able to leave our bags before check-in time and after check-out.

Everything was to our liking. Did not have a walk-in shower, but had tub with handheld sprayer.

Located approx. 15 minutes from the train station towards and very close to the centre. Very clean, friendly owner. You can leave your luggage there before and after checking in and out. We had a bathtub with a showerhead but no shower. No problem with us but if somebody needs for some reason a shower you need another room. Breakfast is a bit limited. Everything else no complaints….

Really pleasant stay with a wonderful owner. The property is well situated for both the old town centre and the station. Breakfast was great. The whole building is beautifully decorated and furnished. All the major sights and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance.

Hotel is in the city centre, about 15 minutes walk from the Palazzo Ducal and other places of interest. Room was clean and equipped with lot of taste, many small details (flowers, ribbons, decorations). Very nice and helpful host. Breakfast was good, but no warm dishes.

Refrigerator in the room was very loud, so was the sheets. They were making a lot of noice by every turn. There is no parking place - we parked in the parking garage about 5 minutes walk from the premises and we got a voucher for 15% discount. Some food for breakfast was eaten and not replaced, so may be the guest who came to breakfast after us didn't have the same choice as we did.

Very friendly and personable staff. Great suggestions of extra places to see. Lovely breakfast Included . Super comfortable room especially bed. Fabulous directions to apartment and early check in so helpful when you are travelling. Discount at parking station great too. Loved staying here.
