The beach, pool area and staff were great.

The rooms need an upgrade. Poor air Conditioning and uncomfortable beds . Odd dirty drain smell from the bathroom occasionally. Being charged to use beach towels , these should be complimentary as it’s a beach hotel. The breakfast was put out at 7, but was not restocked. So once the eggs/melon/ bananas / Greek yogurt was eaten, that was it. If you didn’t come down until 9, there were just the remnants of what was left, even though breakfast didn’t finish until 10.

Wonderful 25 meter salt water swimming pool which was clean and well maintained. Two great tennis courts and on a lovely sandy beach. Breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Our triple room was a good size but there was often no hot water and the beds and pillows were not good. We stayed in September and the restaurant only did a two course set menu for dinner. During the day there was a beach cafe with very limited items for sale. No room service on offer.

The waiting staff made breakfasts a joy. Room cleaners were friendly and helpful, the whole hotel was full of happy professionals. Breakfast itself was excellent. The private beach and services incredible, nice room with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Wonderful location with endless hiking possibilities nearby to complement the obligatory beach days. I can't recommend Hotel Desirée enough.

The location is great, all (swimming pool, beachfront, tennis) within a few steps away from the room. Staff is friendly and well trained, food is good and the hotel has all it take for a secluded rest away from the more busy part of the island. Highly recommend

Room are cozy and clean but style is a bit out of date for my taste (feeling is very much nineties)

Perfect “chillax” location, ates away from a beautiful, sandy, semi private beach.

The place, the beach, the facilities.

Triple room, 3 people in the reservation, but room prepared for 2. Arrived late in the evening after a long travel and staff could not fix the issue: opening the 3rd bed was impossible without blocking access to wardrobe and all room drawers. First night for my son spent on a partially opened sofa bed and full luggage. The following day we had to ask multiple times to find a solution - till a technician came to unblock some furniture's and allow the sofa bed to open, while being able to use wardrobe and drawers. Kitchen staff are completely unprepared to manage food intolerances - despite being informed well in advance of our stay - and this IS a big problem if booked on half board for a week. Was also my birthday, by the way, and my husband and my son did not succeed to have prepared for me a little surprise cake I could eat: I had my candle on a fruit salad. To note, NO dessert for the whole week was free of additives, therefore dessert table for me was off-limits. Finally, very unpleasant surprise at check-out: double counting mistakes on extras, for which we were not trusted - and obliged to take part to the full theater of time waste and manager escalation ( and a ferry to take !!!) - to end up with having to admit it was their mistakes. Bitter taste left.
