Everything at Hotel Gemma del Mare was outstanding! Breakfast is amazing. We loved the home made "torta del giorno", the sweets, the fresh fruit, the prosciutto, the cheese, and the many other delicious things that I cannot list here. The space is elegant and comfortable. You can eat in the beautiful bright room inside, or in the perfectly kept garden. The bedrooms are spacious, decorated with care and style. The same style characterizes the whole hotel. The owners are extremely kind and professional. They made our stay even more pleasant. The position is at a walking distance from the beach and at the same time immersed in the green. I could not have asked for a better place. I would recommend it always. I look forward to going back to the Gemma del Mare many many times in the future!!

The staff has been kind and always ready to help us when needed or advise about what to do around the area, the garden is very nice and the room as well is pretty big and you can find all you need. Great stay! I would definitely go back.

It is a bit far from the beach and it is better to use bicycles but overall, it is a quiet and nice area

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach in Marina di Pietrasanta. It offers free private parking and has a lovely garden, which makes for a pleasant spot to enjoy breakfast outdoors. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The space is basic and would be greatly enhanced with some renovations or modern touches.

The atmosphere and the whole location were just amazing... At the glance I didn't figure out how beautiful the garden was. And then the next day in the morning I realized how great the location is.

We loved the staff. Always trying to make things perfect for us. Jasmin was a lovely one (Thank you. we wish you a awesome journey!!). The dinner menu were a very good option for a family with children.

The air conditioning could be better. The Toscany summer is reeaally hot. The hotel could be few blocks nearer the beach as well, but with the hotel bikes the problem is solved.

We sadly couldn’t stay at hotel Gemma del mare as they had some unexpected work being carried out they very kindly moved our booking to a near by hotel who added breakfast to our stay. Unfortunately the other hotel was not very nice and very very dated inside however the staff were exceptionally helpful and the breakfast was nice

- The staff were hospitable and very helpful and flexible in meeting my requests. - Check in / out operations were flawless. - Location is pretty convenient, you can reach both Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta by bike in 10 min or so.

- The room is extremelly basic. - The materials and design are of a low standard. - It has been many years since the room and the bathroom were last refurbished. - The is no electric outles beside the bed and the only one available outlet was not working properly. I had to charge the phone in the bathroom. - The aircon is a noisy old model not working that well (you can't select the temperature; it is either ON or OFF). - The shower jet sprays in all directions except downwards. - No bottle of water is available in the minibar
