The view was breathtaking - the valley and the Adriatic Sea everywhere you looked. The covered veranda had plenty of outdoor seating and shade. The kitchen was a wonderfully large communal space. The bedrooms each had plenty of room. And the washing machine with outdoor drying rack were a huge bonus, as we were halfway through a two-week trip. Absolutely perfect!

Be aware that you can only reach the residence by car, and there’s a steep incline on the driveway to get down to the villa. Not a complaint - just something to be aware of.

Wonderful, exquisite place. I’ve never stayed in a residence so beautiful. Every corner of the place is so well-thought through. Designed so nicely. The mountain and sea view are in abundance and breathtaking. The host is wonderfully kind and welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. The other staff too were always kind and friendly with the kids. We chose to have breakfast and we were not disappointed. A wonderful spread of fresh croissants, fresh juice, meats and cheeses. The accommodation itself is well laid out, well-equipped and comfortable for the needs of our family (2 adults, 2 children). Clean linen, fresh towels, wonderful shower. The pool and the area is absolutely pristine and one with, once again, a perfect view. I cannot recommend this place enough. It exceeded any expectations and we would gladly return. Our only, reservation is that we wish we had stayed longer! Thank you for having us.

The scenery from this place is breath taking. This is top relaxation! It's like time stands still during your stay. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool also! Location and accommodation is 10+!

Everything was great. A note for visitors: Don't follow the navigation instructions on booking. You will end up high in the mountains. Check the accommodation on google and use the google maps link there. Save yourself a lot of time and frustration. The host only speaks Italian.

The view is incredible! The property grounds are beautiful. The landscaping is gorgeous, the pool is super clean and not crowded. It overlooks the Adriatic Sea, with seating where you can relax and watch the moon rise. You definitely need a car, but everything you could want is close by. The staff is over-the-top friendly and helpful. The room is stocked with just about anything you could need.

It wasn't an issue because it was warm when we visited, but the bed only has a sheet for a blanket. I definitely used my blanket I brought on the plane. Not a big deal, but just a heads up to future guests.

Hotel views are amazing. Pool size is really good and offered ample sitting space. Breakfast was excellent. Recommendations offered were very useful.

Room size was small and even though we spent little time in the room, it made logistics (family of four) a bit tight. Not both rooms had A/C, meaning that for the bedroom to get fresh, the kitchen/living room (where part of the family was sleeping) had to be freezing.

Lovely accommodation, spotless, comfortable and very well equipped if you want to do a bit of cooking for yourself. The owner and his daughter were very welcoming and helpful. We were privileged to stay in this very special place. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Nothing it was a perfect stay..

We have just departed from "Montelci Residence" after staying there for an incredible 9 days. The place offers 12 apartments, immaculately clean and comfortable. It is located in the midst of an endless olive grove, overlooking the Adriatic sea. Truly heaven. The swimming pool is just wonderful - clean and never too crowded. Michele's unique touch could be felt all around the residence. Nikola is the ultimate host- he speaks English, French, and German, and he is keen on helping and giving superb local recommendations. Nice shared pool and wonderful private terrace with lovely view. House had all facilities needed including washing machine and dishwasher (although not an oven).

There were some distant dogs barking at night, so windows needed to be closed.

The host Michele arranged to meet us on the main road to the property as it may have been difficult to find and our flight was delayed so it was after midnight when he kindly came out and guided us to his property. The apartments are in a lovely setting and the layout is beautiful so you don't feel overlooked. The pool is large, clean and has many comfortable sunbeds, parasols and seating areas. The breakfast is €12 per person per day with a selection of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, bread and conserves, tea or coffee and orange juice all beautifully served and very fresh. The grounds are well maintained and exceptionally clean with many comfortable seating areas with stunning views of the mountains and the sea. There were mesh blinds on the windows which were very welcome because the mosquitos were prevalent and particularly liked the taste of our blood - unfortunately this caused us problems sitting out on the balcony but we purchased various anti-mosquito candles etc and would advise other guests to bring them too. The balcony was spacious and well set up with table, chairs and a two seater bench - we had a view of the sea which was beautiful at nightime with the moon rising over it. There was also a clothes drying rack, brush, mop, wash up liquid and drying cloths provided. As cat lovers we were very happy to see there are cats around which we loved they are timid so if you don't like cats they won't come near you however we were glad to see them and bought some cat kibble which hey appreciated - hopefully other cat loving guests will keep up the feeding!.

The only thing we felt was missing was that the kitchen didn't have a microwave nor a toaster or kettle. We liked to stay at the pool for the day and have lunch in our apartment but with only a stove top it meant we were a bit restricted eating in.

Fabulous location with view of the Adriatic. Lovely breakfast served on the terrace. Roomy, comfy apartment with lots of privacy. Washing machine and detergent were available for use -very convenient. Mattinatella beach was a 5-10 minute drive away and in early October we had it all to ourselves. The water temperature was lovely - not exactly warm, but pleasant enough to go in four times for about 15 minutes each. Lovely hosts Michele and Anna made us feel very welcome. An exquisitely laid out property. Quiet. It was a great location from which to do day trips to Vieste and Monte Sant’Angelo.

The construction and interior of the apartment is quite modern, but like many places in Italy there is no ventilation in the bathroom, so when we arrived there was a musty smell, but this dispersed after leaving the doors open for awhile. We stayed four days.
