The location is great - right in the the heart of the city. The infrastructure and the common spaces of the hotel were very well maintained, clean and very well decorated. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, especially Sabrina and Vladimir (special regards to them)! Breakfast and lobby bar extremely well organized! Room was clean!

We have special recommendations regarding how the room was organized! For its category and price range the room was missing many important elements like: complimentary still water (standard in any normal hotel nowadays), coffee machine and tea kettle, slippers, shoeshine, shoehorn. The mini bar had only 2 bottles of water and 2 bottles of apple juice.

They kindly let me check in early despite I booked the room last minute. Excellent location as this hotel is located at the center of the town close to shops etc. Hotel staffs super friendly and helpful, especially thanks to Katarina who helped me arranging the taxi etc and to a gentleman at the reception who checked me in early despite it was very early of the day—very kind! Loved that the hotel had its own restaurant, cafe and bar so I could eat and drink very conveniently!

A bit noisy as my room was right next to some kind of meeting room where people stayed there late talking loudly. However, the hotel corrected immediately as soon as I complained about it.

My room was super comfortable. Mini-fridge & safe are always welcome. The wood paneling may have been a type of evergreen that emits aromatic oils, or they did some kind of treatment. Very refreshing. I had a nice big window looking down on the street. Breakfast is good and substantial. Make sure you get eggs with it. I preferred the fried to the scrambled only because the scrambled egg portion was so huge. The front desk staff was very helpful with decision-making in terms of hiking destinations and local attractions. When you stay at this hotel you have access to a discount on many things including Terme Merano, Meran2000 and Trauttmansdorff Gardens. These are must see places. I went to the spa twice it was so good. Get a 3-hour pass with sauna or a day pass at least once. The sauna area is incredible but so is the common area. Hotel restaurant and cafe are excellent and you can sit out on the street and watch the world go by. Excellent cocktails with generous pours. Have a gin tonic. Overall this is an exceptional place and I think you will have a wonderful time staying here. They did a special multi-course gala dinner for Ferragosto. One of the finest meals I've ever had in my life if not the finest. Very reasonably priced considering what you got for your money.

This is a tricky statement for me but I feel it has relevance. My Italian is not good and my German is worse. I felt at times some of the staff regarded me differently because of the language barrier. Maybe I just imagined it.

The team at this hotel were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived and for the duration of our stay. We loved the location, right in the middle of town with everything you needed at our fingertips. Breakfast was delicious as well, great coffee and heaps of options. Would recommend staying here if you are escaping to Merano.

- location (vicinity to the therme, restaurants, shops) - friendliness and kindness of reception staff - arrangements for parking and for therme - breakfast - free upgrade :-)

minor niggles: - was not offered any cooked breakfast items (although plenty of cold items on buffet) - room decor is dated although some people will surely like it. All was in very good state except chair that broke as soon as I sat on it. - bed super comfortable but squeaky - low water pressure in shower and poor hairdryer.

There was nothing to complain about!

The best thing regarding this hotel is its location. Few steps from the spa and all the nice things in Merano. Also it has a superb breakfast considering the price.

My room was not that big, and slightly noisy.

Nice breakfast with eggs to order and mimosas. We had a lovely spacious room with separate shower and tub.

All was good

The dinner was really delicious and the staff was very helpful and warm. We felt very much welcome and taken care of in a authentic way. The house itself has a "classic" style, but the personnel gives it a modern, open touch. We had quite some laughter together. The locaiton is central, but not loud.

The room size was on the lower end and the bathroom interiour could be renewed. But cleanliness was no issue.
