Breakfast was good, considering that in Italy breakfast normally means just a cappuccino and a croissant. Staff was great: we reported some smoke smell in the bathroom of our non-smoking room (I didn't want to risk being charged for something we didn't do), and when we came back in the evening they had taken care of it. My guess is that they changed the bathroom curtain. The hotel is also one of the cleanest I've stayed in anywhere in the world, and the gated parking lot is good to have, as the hotel is in an industrial and shopping area where I have never felt too comfortable leaving a car at night in the public parking lot.

The coffee machine in the breakfast room needs updating: the coffee is undrinkable. The furniture is also dated: it looks like it is still from 25 years ago when the hotel first opened (though it still has the original high-end touch to it, like cable holes in the side tables that allow you to place your phone on top and plug it into the outlet below without stretching the cord).

Decent hotel, pretty clean, good wifi, good parking conditions, good location. We've done our job with what we've get, but nothing more as comfort or pleasure of spending time there.

We've asked for a room with two beds(of course, we were informed - subject to availability - fine!); we've got a room with a double-bed, which, in the second day, was split in two small single beds (to respond our request), but the only blanket in the room, that was extremely useful in the first night - dissapeared... thus, we've learned our lesson, better a double bed than a double-bed "cut in half" for two singles To have a fair value for money, breakfast should be included in the fare that we've paid. Otherwise, 10€/person/day is too much to make the place priced fairly...

I like the fact that it was an excellent value for the money. The hotel is in a good position logistically (close to pizzeria, mall, an ice cream place a bar...). Clean and the staff was super kind. So definitely top mark.

The area in the surroundings is not exceptional... There is nothing to see... Objectively and definitely not for a romantic week-end... It is located basically on an enormous parking lot that serves the mall.

I booked a single room that was ok with a single bed. Ample working space and ample plugs for all types of devices. You have a shopping center across the road. There is a pizzeria downstairs plus a great ice cream parlour.

Don't expect to be in a typical Italian town with an historical center. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Merate.

From the check-in you know you're in the right place, staff is very thoughtful, rooms where everything is provided, cleaning staff very attentive, breakfast is very extensive with again staff who are happy to assist you when needed. Beautiful hotel with class in approach. Everything is provided around the hotel: from a very large supermarket, to drinks and eateries, laundry, ice cream shop, etc. ... And, the hotel is in a prime location from which to explore the area by car or bicycle.

The size of the room was great. Biggest I ever had. Hotel was near Milan and also Como/Lugano lake. Short drive / train for both location. Breakfast was great. There is a bar nearby that also served great food.

Nothing comes to my mind. For this money it was a great accommodation.

Great location. Restaurant and bar nearby, also big shopping center, if you need anything. Reception lady was extremely friendly and helpful, she made us feel very welcome from the minut we arrived. Rooms were good, looked recently renovated, all amenities needed were present.

The lady receptionist took our passport which I haven't experienced before. I travelled a lot and I was worried. Maybe the hotel had no copying or Xerox machine.

The location was right the location I needed, with free available parking outside. Breakfast wasn't included but reasonably priced (€10)

The shower facilities were a bit run down, with loose handles.

The room was clean and spacious. It is possible with a dog.

€10 dog fee which is the biggest I have ever experienced and you don't know it in advance so then you have no choice.
