A quiet location, sort of an inn, surrounded by shady trees, with quite generous parking. On the ground floor they have a restaurant, terrace, confectionery. Spacious room and bathroom, cleaned daily. Swedish breakfast, by all accounts, not extraordinary, but quite good. The manager (or the owner?) waits for you every morning with coffee at your discretion. About 100 meters from the hotel is a bell tower of the local church, which rings every morning at 7:30. Strange time, isn't it? But it's not disturbing at all, especially if you have the window closed you don't even hear it. It rings again at 7:45 to make sure you don't miss breakfast. :-) Some guidelines: - from Bergamo airport to Hotel Ristorant Fatur we arrived in 25 minutes by taxi, which cost 56 euros - the hotel is a 10-minute easy walk from the train station - from Cisano-Caprino Bergamasco station there are hourly trains to Milan or the picturesque towns on the shores of Lake Como. The "Trainline" application is very useful, you install it on your phone and buy tickets online for the desired time and destination. But you can also buy tickets on the train, from the train conductor.

The staff doesn't really speak English. There is a waitress who knows some English. So, rather than asking for directions, if you don't speak Italian, you're better off using Google. The restaurant menu is poor. Whole pages of wines of all kinds, and only one variety of beer. Just one! The kitchen leaves much to be desired. I can't say I've had the best risotto or pasta bolognese here.

This is a nice family-owned hotel in a small town. The staff was very friendly, helpful and charming. They didn't prefer to speak much English, but we could manage anyway. We had a big room, basically the size of a two-room apartment. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to store clothes and belongings. The bathroom was also very spacious. Internet access worked very well. The appearance of the restaurant really made it look like high standard, and we think it is, but we didn't try it. We had breakfast though, and it was good. The parking area right outside the hotel, fully separated from the street, was nice and very spacious too.

The only thing that was disappointing was the rather cold water in the shower in our room. From time to time it was not freezing cold but just about tolerable, but the very next minute it again turned very cold. This sequence kept repeating, for as long as we had our showers in the morning. Almost painful and quite disturbing. We find this comfort factor important enough to actually reduce the overall rating of our stay a little.

Clearly an older hotel, but well kept and located in a nice spot in a little village that was conveniently on our way. Breakfast was quite limited but ok. Parking right infront of the hotel.

The elderly gentleman in the reception who first greeted us didn't speak any english but we managed to get everything sorted. The hotel restaurant was closed (like apparently every friday). The bed was really, really uncomfortable! For one night stop over one might still bare it, since the room and hotel otherwise is nice.

Beautiful grounds so well kept and many sitting area both inside and outside. But the most important words are this place is owned and operated by the such a kind, loving, and special family. Words can't express how grateful we are to this family for making our stay such a memorable one thru trying rental car situation! Food and service was the best! Extremely clean accommodations as well. Very modern facility with an elevator! Hopefully, will be able to visit again😊❤️

Absolutely nothing except would have loved to stay longer!

Despite short-term booking and arriving after the actual check-in time, there were no problems. I was received a friendly welcome and even got a tip for a good pizzeria around the corner, as the restaurant had unfortunately already closed. The breakfast was very good and delicious. The service was impeccable.

The interior design of the rooms and the hotel could us some updating. Had some construction works on a hotel roof and that was a bit inconvenient.

Friendly stuff, they help us about late check in . Small room but clean and bathroom is very good. Breakfast has a lot of varieties but I would add possibility to order omelet for example . Water in room in bottle waiting for guest for free. We will return back for sure

This property is central to the tourist destinations of Milan, lake Como and Bergamo Alta. The family has run this property for many, many years. We were there for our 15 year wedding anniversary since we were dating there and decided to get married. We just relived the experience and it was amazing!

There was nothing I can think of, it was wonderful.

Very friendly staff. Rooms very clean. Air conditioner was extremely very efficient and we got any possible temperature when outside 30+ degrees. Church clock was just at 50m behind the window. Very nice view.

Challenges with English language, but no problem because of Google Translator. Church bell worked as an awake up call, but it created nice atmosphere from the other side.

Nice room, clean and big bathroom. Good parking by the hotel. Just the time of breakfast could be longer. We came late but the staff give us some croissants, jam, and etc. So in the end no problem at all. We were satisfied.
