Absolutely unique place, which I have never met before. Maybe there was not so much space for your things, but that is not important. A place with a soul that attracts attention with details. We got a clean room, beautifully decorated with a window with view on the sunrise, and a terrace overlooking the courtyard. Every morning the owner, served us wonderful breakfasts in a typical Italian style. All the amenities worked perfectly. Additional advantages were the location on the top of the hill and absolute peace and quiet.

Marcella offers a home from home in her lovely quirky house in Calco. She and her family made us feel very welcome indeed. And she rose early every morning to make us a wonderful breakfast. My husband loved her cakes!

It is quite a way from Calco (a steep 45 min walk!) so a car is essential. But we did find a great restaurant 20 mins walk away which was great.

It felt like visiting family! The place had its unique charm and was decorated with due attention to all details. Every morning we enjoyed homemade breakfasts, assisted by the most welcoming hosts who had some great stories to share. Totally recommended!

It’s best to come by car, considering the location

The room is located in a very pleasant complex with a balcony and a very nice view. The hosts are lovely and helped me a lot with every request. The breakfast is indulgent. The room is lovely, big and beautiful.

Although there is great privacy between the rooms, acoustically the noise between the rooms does pass. In the room next to me was a family with children and their noise made it a little difficult for me. Also, a car is needed to stay at this accommodation.

It was really enjoyable night, the apartment looks like museum. The lady who own apartment was super helpful. We arrived in late evening and she told us where to find closest restaurants and eaven festival witch we attended. Breakfast was really sweet, kids enjoyed it, adults was good with the coffee!

Delicious breakfast, beautiful apartment with bathroom, very friendly owner. Very quiet place with unique atmosphere. Good choice for artists and writers.

Sometimes less is more, there was too much of vintage stuff

To start with the breakfast was amazing, best breakfast we ever had. Fresh cheese and jam which was home made. The place decoration was unique, it's like you are living in another Era. The host are very kind and they do everything to make you feel at home. Also the distance to visit Como lake is convenient.

Everything were Amazing 🤩 Very cute atmosphere, polite staff ( I guess they are owners ) , delicious natural jam on breakfast with plenty foods! I am over the moon 👍

We had a very good stay in B&B Il Torchio. We booked 3 rooms and we loved the house! The poeple were very friendly end lovely cakes for breakfast!
