The location was good. Just hop on a tram. Direct trams go to Milano Centrale station, the canal and the city center. Also, excellent restorants near the hotel. Great breakfast and we loved the swiming pool on the rooftop. Staff was very friendly.

Some maintanance was going on on our floor and first few days the smell of paint was very heavy in the hallway.

I once chose the hotel due to two things: the car is parked safely and it has a great roof top terrace with a pool! The rooms are very nice, food and drinks great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Public transportation around the corner with easy commuting to the city. We also like the location in Chinatown - shows a different side of the city. Always coming back since the first stay!

Just minor things: The bathroom is beautiful but I miss more hooks on the wall to put wet towels, swimwear, etc. We had to see an utmost inappropriate behavior in and at the pool that belongs in privacy. I was really wondering, why none of the staff told those “lovebirds” off. Prices mainly for drinks and food are too high!

The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The breakfast on the rooftop was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. Special thanks to Nathalie and Marina, who were always welcoming and smiling every morning—they really made breakfast enjoyable. Also, Manager Francesca had a great eye for detail and followed up on everything to ensure our stay was perfect. The location was also ideal for exploring Milan.

‏I had a wonderful stay at Hotel VIO. The warm welcome from the receptionist, Savo, and the sales director, Accardo, truly made my day after a long trip from Interlaken, and prepared me for my last day in Milan before returning to Saudi Arabia. ‏The hotel has beautiful details and thoughtful touches that give a sense of luxury. Cleanliness is absolutely 10/10, and the staff were very quick to respond to any requests. ‏It’s an excellent choice for anyone coming to Milan. The location is close to the tram, and the hotel offers private parking for €40 per day with valet service. There are also other nearby parking options that I believe are less expensive.

The best about this property was the incredible staff and how friendly they were and how they tried to go above and beyond every single time. We loved our stay in Milan here. The breakfast was good and if there wasn’t something that we saw, tried their best to accommodate. It was all around an amazing stay!

The neighborhood was close to Chinatown- this was ok for us because we loved eating some Asian food after 10 days in Italy, but for some this may be a minus. It’s a walk away from the city center.

The pool when it was open, the suite was very nice but the lights in the bathroom could have been stronger

They had a private party that started at 18:00 so we could not use the pool or half the terrace, I decided to stay there because of the pool. We came at 17:50 and at least 3 waiters informed us, what we could not do!!! The concierge could have been more informative, he had so little knowledge about the area and so little recommendations about restaurants… you should know your customers specially if you are 5 star hotel

Savo the Concierge was absolutely amazing. The entire staff did a lovely job. The location worked well for us and though we didn't walk to the City Center it was a quick uber ride there and back. Driving into the City as we did in the evening Milan can be imposing but daytime paints another picture of this lovely city. There is an amazing Thai restaurant called Thai Square. My wife is Thai and said it was exceptional.

This is something for which we could only nitpick. Personally I would like a few more breakfast options but we had everything we could need or want.

It’s a very beautiful property, nicely modern and well maintained with really nice rooms. Staff were polite. It’s in a great location, with the tram stop being only outside which gets you to duomo in about 20 minutes. (Really easy to use just hop on and scan your bank card when you get on) We unfortunately didn’t get to use the pool due to the weather but it looks a lovely area to have cocktails (which if anyone would like to know are €20 each) The cocktails were delicious in the rooftop bar but we didn’t get to use the downstairs restaurant and bar during our stay

Our shower flooded the entire bathroom and when we complained they went ‘ok’ and said they would send maintenance but it still seemed to be flooding when we left (we turned it on to see if it had been fixed and it didn’t look like it). We also were not offered the full breakfast on our first day but didn’t realise until our second breakfast when someone came to take our order and we were confused and she said we should’ve had it yesterday. Again when we complained we just got a “okay, sorry about that” no attempt to fix this or even reimburse anything considering we were paying for 3 breakfasts but due to an early departure we would be missing one of them anyway (that’s on us I’m aware) but we effectively got 1 & 1/2 breakfasts out of 3.
